Amazing. I manage the air conditioner and awning on the balcony while I am away from home. You can also connect the TV (although there is no reason)
I got it for devices that do not have WiFi and I wanted to open them remotely, such as the air conditioner! I have put several devices on it and it works perfectly! So far, flawless! If you buy it, get the power cable that has a temperature sensor on it.. And this counts well and helps in operations! For my taste, it is beautiful in appearance although I would like it to come out in silver color too! Its size is much smaller than the photos show!

The only negative thing is that in the application, it does not show you if the device you turned on is open or closed (the power button does not change color)
Well, I was afraid of it at first but it does what it promises! I hope my comment will help someone who wants to buy it! It was purchased to control the TCL air conditioner when I'm not at home. The TCL air conditioner, whose model I can't remember, and the LG television (not smart) in different corners of the house where conventional remotes wouldn't work from the point where I have placed the Broadlink, but with the range of the Broadlink RM4 Mini, both can be controlled smoothly whether I'm at home or outside with data
It works very reliably, connects easily and securely with other devices, has a good signal range, while the Broadlink app is very user-friendly. For remote control of the air conditioner that I use it for, I believe that the cable with the temperature and humidity sensors is necessary because only by changing the temperature and humidity can I confirm that the correct commands were given. The initial setup could have been simpler.
Ideal for Tassos to listen to the discography of Amon Amarth. It perfectly controls the Marshall speaker and you can adjust the volume according to how much he enjoys each song separately.
Customers are also thrilled, whenever it plays they look up in awe.
The only note - addition I would make is for it to be able to connect to a microphone with the ability for seditnal to intervene and announce the title of each song, so that customers and Tassos don't have to search on Shazam, and he doesn't have to call me and ask me what each song is called.
Excellent as an all-in-one remote control. Works seamlessly with Google Assistant and is small and discreet. It controls perfectly via voice commands a Sony TV, the Cosmote decoder, a multi-channel amplifier, and a Mitsubishi air conditioner. My only complaint is the short cable. I have purchased 2 along with the humidity and temperature sensors which I believe are worth having. Quick response to commands and no disconnections. Excellent as a remote control.
Very good for its price. I bought it to control an air conditioner and it does exactly what I want. It can work with many devices within its range. However, it is not easy to connect or control multiple functions with many devices (e.g. my Yamaha multi-channel amplifier) and it requires manual programming because it does not have a very extensive device library. I would buy it again without hesitation and maybe get another one for another room
Well, I read the remote control of the JVC smart TV and it worked on the Daikin AC 24ari siesta even though the model was not included. It works with one of the other pre-installed ones, but not 100%, only the basic functions. Of course, I tried 3 pairing scenarios for every possibility, and there are YouTube videos showing how to do it.
It also worked on the TCL 9ari
It is easily adjustable, devices connect easily, it has a long range, you can create scenarios and schedules. The device is excellent.
3 stars because I can't set the temperature and humidity that it measures as a routine on Google Home
It has really solved my hands, I handle an old technology TV and air conditioner, very satisfied. I struggled a bit to connect to the wi-fi at 2.4 GHz, but in the end, everything is fine. I easily managed to find and save the devices on my mobile.

I bought it to remotely control the air conditioner in my office located in Ampelokipoi, Athens. After setting it up, it works perfectly and I am very satisfied. I encountered difficulty during the setup, but Broadlink's technical support responded immediately and provided simple instructions for my request. Additionally, the response was quite personalized, which pleasantly surprised me.
The problem with the setup was that there were many neighboring routers in the office, which probably confused it in the final step. When I set it up at home where there were 2-3 routers around, the setup was done in 2 minutes, so I was sure it wasn't an issue with the device or the application.
It is quite discreet, elegant, and affordable. I definitely recommend it.
It works well for me with my old LG TV and Toyotomi air conditioners. However, it cannot read the remote controls of my Denon amplifier and Nvidia Shield.
Amazing. Small, beautiful, very fast connection both for the device itself and the controllers. I currently control the air conditioner, television, DVD, and TV box. Google recognized it immediately.
It took me a while to understand that I first need to connect my mobile's wifi to the Broadlink's wifi and then connect to my home wifi.
It works great!! I bought two because I want a weekly program for the air conditioners and remote control. (Toshiba AC from the last four years and Daikin from the last fifteen years)
Keep in mind that its range is like that of a TV remote control, about 4 meters.
Now commands for opening & closing TV, AC, etc. that do not have any smart home integration can be done through Alexa.
I have bought 2 (living room and bedroom) and they are very good for their price.
You can set it up with Google Home and it accepts commands perfectly fine.
Having a Xiaomi ecosystem, for me it is a disadvantage because I lose out on automations.
Other than that, I recommend it without a second thought!
It controls my 2 air conditioners, all good. It does not come with its own power supply, you will need an old mobile charger. It has its own micro USB cable. It does not have 360-degree coverage, it has an IR at the top and emits 90-120 degrees upwards.
My purpose when I bought this product was to integrate it with Google Home and get rid of the company's application. Eventually, this idea didn't work as it seems in the pictures, since the devices do not appear with available options for control, but only with status (online/offline, on/off). So if you plan to do something like this, maybe you should look elsewhere. Eventually, after swallowing it a bit, the Broadlink application was better than I expected, so the downside in this area is small. The connection process was a pain, as it is with any IoT device with WiFi. In case someone encounters a problem (especially if using Fritz!Box), it would be good to start by turning off the 5GHz band during setup. Personally, I got stuck at the stage where you have completed the setup and it asks you if the light is still blinking (which in my case was blinking when it shouldn't). After many resets, I realized that to connect correctly, you have to reach this point and instead of selecting "still blinking," close the application and wait a few minutes for the device to settle on its own, and finally open the application, which will detect it as already ready for use. I mainly got it to control the air conditioner when I'm away from home, but the scene function that you can create convinced me to add the television as well. Now with a command to Google Assistant, I can turn on the air conditioner and have the television play a movie completely automatically. A system like this becomes more and more value for money the more infrared devices you add to the room, and with the automations you can create (it also works with IFTTT), I think the €15 it asks for are more than worth it.
After MANY MANY hours of effort and testing with different phones and tablets, it finally managed to connect to the home WiFi when I connected a second router that had no devices connected to its WiFi at all. My main router has over 20 devices connected.
Adding the air conditioner was relatively easy even though it was not available on the list. I will come back after a while to see how it performs in everyday life.
Connected for 1.5 years, no disconnections and works seamlessly with A/C, TV & home cinema... I have also connected the cable with the thermometer.
(Except for a small period of 10-15 days when it received a faulty update and messed up the A/C settings).
Relatively easy installation, good app, good connectivity with Google Home and Alexa, and good response when giving commands. And the range reaches a satisfactory distance. Overall, it's worth its money.
It does what it says in the description. I set it up to control a TV, an air conditioner, and a dehumidifier very easily. I also connected it to an Echo Dot and it works great.

Using the app, connecting the protein is very easy. You can control any device in your home that has a remote control through your mobile phone. It also connects with Google Home and Alexa, so any device that is not "smart" can be made smart. For example, I made some LED strips smart for only three euros and I have them on my Google Home. It is worth every penny until the last euro. If you want to learn everything about smart homes, go to this channel on YouTube called Greek Tech Freak. I learned everything from there!
I was impressed by how small it is and at the same time how well it performs and how reliable it is.
For those who use automations with home assistant, it works flawlessly and finally I automated "dumb" devices such as air conditioners, etc.
The main reason I bought it was because I have an Inventor A/C without Wi-Fi that I wanted to be able to control and schedule to turn on at specific times in the bedroom during the night.
Also, as an extra feature for some IR devices that are not smart (TV, fans). And all of this to be connected to my Google Home.
If your A/C is in the program's "library," everything is fine. But from what I discovered, the "Inventor" company does not have the Broadlink program in its library, and there was an option to use it as a smart device, to program the A/C's functions one by one.
For example, [turn on device + 27 degrees + heat + 1 level of air intensity], which was all one button.
If I wanted it to go to 28 degrees, I had to create a new command [turn on device + 28 degrees + heat + 1 level of air intensity], and so on for all the degrees and other modes (Cool).
All of this is because the A/C remote control sends a unique code to the machine every time you change something, like the temperature, mode, or air intensity. This makes it difficult to program compared to a TV where each button is separate!
The other option is to try different companies to see if their remote control is compatible and avoid all these problems.
Luckily, I found the first compatible company with Inventor, which is "Midea."
Now, in the case of the TV, there is a button in the program that says CH (channels), where you can program each channel of the TV one by one and add a photo as the button's logo, such as Ant1, Mega... which, in my opinion, is convenient so that we don't have to search for each channel one by one until we find the desired one.
The negative aspect of the TV is that because the ON and OFF buttons are the same, if you are not there to see the TV, you don't know if you turned it off or not in order to turn it off remotely. In contrast, with the A/C, the OFF and ON are separate functions, so you can remotely turn it off if you are not sure if it is already off, just by pressing OFF on your phone, and nothing will happen if it is already off because it will remain off!
In general, it is worth the money if you want to make your devices smart in a very affordable way (17.19 €) and control them with voice commands or from your phone.
I am considering buying another one for the living room for my other devices.
