Click+point adventure with minimal action choices... but the action is the story itself!
Full-on dramatic story with the young protagonists, equally powerful and disruptive story like the 1st game! It connects in 2 points with the 1st game of the series, which, however, do not affect the story, so it can be played autonomously, without having played the 1st game...
It's not a game for children, even though the protagonists are children, but it plays with emotions and life situations that they won't fully understand...
It requires good English and careful choices...
Highly recommended!
It is a tender, powerful, touching, and for strong stomachs story.
There were many times when I spontaneously exclaimed in surprise, sadness, and sorrow...
It keeps you constantly alert, wanting to learn more about the story of the two children, to relax at various points, to take a breath, to calm down, and... something will happen and everything will turn upside down. The creators probably tried to achieve this and they succeeded 100%.
It puts you in the shoes of the protagonists, what would you do in their position, how would you manage the situation.
*The music, like in the first one, is something else, the graphics are better than the first one, you won't say "Wow, what am I seeing" but they are unique and likable.
*Having played the first one, I saw that it has faces and some references to it.
*I still have Before the Storm to play and it will be the next one I will buy.
Until episode 4, I liked it more than the first one, but episode 5, they should not have put it, it was extremely boring without any meaning, the action was missing. I got bored immediately. In the end, the first one is nicer.
The game has amazing graphics. If you have played Life Is Strange 1, you will love it, it's not so much "play" with powers, it's more about following the story. You bond with the characters and the story progresses relatively quickly. 5/5 for me!
Truly another masterpiece of its kind. In the positives: an awesome scenario, quite beautiful graphics, decisions that truly change the whole plot, as even the smallest detail is later commented on by the characters, full emotions, and generally a strange atmosphere of anxiety with scenes of calmness. In many points, it plays with you instead of you playing it. Its only drawbacks are the awkward endings (and the 3-4 alternatives for me did not have the happy ending it needed, something I did not believe I would see since in many points it was too realistic, but I had a small hope inside me), the lack of twists, as it had very few shocking and unexpected moments, and the distance from the first game, as it is essentially a completely different and new story rather than a sequel, with just 1-2 references - easter eggs for the first game (I would have liked the worlds to be connected much more). Otherwise, it is worth its money and more!
In its genre, I consider it top-notch. I also believe it is much better than the previous one, although I haven't finished it yet to have a complete opinion, as I was disappointed by the ending of the previous one. It is worth every penny and more
