The AMiO car battery charger is suitable for charging car and motorcycle batteries as it has a choice of two operating voltages such as 6V and 12V. Additionally, it also has two charging current options, 2A and 4A, which allow it to charge batteries of small and larger capacities.
It is equipped with a digital display that shows information such as charging voltage, charging current, and battery status. This makes it easier for you to monitor the charging process and check the battery status.
Safety is important when charging batteries, and the AMiO Battery digital charger provides multiple protections for safe charging. It includes protection against short circuits, reverse polarity, overloading, and overheating.

* GEL batteries with a capacity of up to 14Ah used in motorcycles and scooters should be charged by selecting the program with the motorcycle icon on the screen.
The battery charger is used to charge the car battery to keep it in good condition and provide the necessary power for the electrical systems and the engine to operate. This is important, especially if the car is not used for long periods of time.
Therefore, it cannot be used as a jump starter as it only has a charging function.

Everything is fine, I opened it, put the battery to charge, the strange thing it does is that when the battery is full, it doesn't stay steady at the full indication, it starts charging again and then goes back to full. I don't bother going through the process of returning it, it's not worth the trouble for the amount it costs. I don't have high expectations anyway, but if someone has a similar issue, they can mention it in a comment.
I bought it because I forgot to turn off the motorcycle switch all night and the battery died. I put it on slow charge 2A 12V and the battery fully recovered in about 3 hours. If the battery is completely discharged, no charger will bring it back
The construction could be better than plastic, etc., but okay. I bought it last minute before leaving for a 2-month business trip. When I returned, it was showing full on the screen and indeed the car took off smoothly! So far, so good.
I bought 2 for 23 euros each last May and permanently installed them on my boat in 2 batteries of 105 ampere marine exactly because they charge with 4 Ah for slow charging and they work perfectly until now.
I bought one due to the lack of vehicle movement because of the coronavirus lockdown. I tested it by charging a 60 A battery and had no issues. The next purchase I made was another one of the same kind for general maintenance of the batteries of these vehicles as well as a Piaggio scooter with an 11 A Gel battery technology.
Although I was a bit scared after reading a review that mentioned it broke as soon as it was used (the behavior of the seller also plays a role here, as there are faulty products everywhere), I bought it and tested it on a weak 12V battery.
By connecting it to the battery (without being plugged in), it displayed the current voltage of the battery (mine was at 12.0 - low), and when connected to the power supply, it charges it (up to 13.4, if it is 12V).
It also has special functions for charging when it is below 0, which I have not tested.
For now, everything is good. I hope it withstands over time as I will not be using it heavily. If anything changes, I will update my review.
UPDATE: For those who have the same issue as me, the instruction manual states that you should first connect the clips to the battery terminals and then plug it into the power. However, once it is already connected to the battery, you cannot change the charging mode of the charger. I was testing it and thought it had a problem. So, it requires:
1. Plugging it into the power without the battery connected
2. Selecting the mode and disconnecting
3. Connecting it to the battery
4. Plugging it into the power
I followed the instructions for use. The problem is that the charger does not follow them! Maybe the battery is also to blame, as it was quite discharged. The issue is that the charger does not work properly and its indications are all over the place. I connect the cables to the battery, positive first and then negative, and then I connect the charger to the power. Instead of showing an indication that the battery is charging, it flashes the Error sign and an indication that the volts are increasing. They increase at a turtle's pace, for example, I left the battery charging for a whole day and the volts increased by 1! And as I think about how all of this cost me 30€ and a week of waiting for the charger to arrive, because it was out of stock, it is truly disappointing! Get something else!
