It will get dirty with use. It only needs to be washed with water, no soap.

Very important:
It must be completely dry for new use and must have dried in the air. (In the summer, it easily dries in a few hours, in the winter maybe even 24 hours)
If you try to dry it in a heated oven or grill, it will break. So be careful.
