From new it sticks and the TV and computer don't read it. In 10 connections, they read it half the time, you have to take it out and put it back in until it catches. Also, it is unstable and interrupts data transfers, besides being slow.
I have had this USB stick for about 2 months.
Initially, I can say that it was working satisfactorily, with consistently good speeds, no interruptions, no disconnections, and I was overall satisfied.
Unfortunately, after 2 months, during which I note that its usage was not particularly demanding, as I mainly used it in the office, working with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files. Specifically, it has been connected to only 2 (!) computers.
In fact, I could say that from the available storage space, even when I needed to transfer larger files, I did not use more than 20-30% of it.
Eventually, one day, I simply connected it to the computer and it asked me to format it.
No matter what I did, no matter how many times I tried, the computer could not "read" it again.
I went through the process of recovering its content with appropriate software, and although I succeeded, many Word and Excel files do not open, resulting in significant work loss.
Unfortunately, therefore, I am disappointed with this purchase.
Guys, I may have come across a defective product, I can't justify the time it takes for this stick to be read by any machine it's connected to. It freezes, meaning you may have to wait even 20 seconds for it to read a folder or start a read, write, or delete operation. I have tried slow - fast formatting in Fat32, Ntfs, but it doesn't change anything. It was found that if I create a smaller partition, for example, 64GB, it is more functional, not crazy fast but at least it doesn't freeze the entire system as soon as it is selected as a disk... and still with occasional freezes at random times.
Excellent USB stick that I have been using for about 6 months. Fast, high-quality. It has some fluctuations in the write speed, but it doesn't matter since it completes the process very quickly. For its cost (~12 euros), it is the best.
Well, the USB stick is great and it didn't seem to have any issues.
I'm getting 28mb/s write speed on USB 2 without any lag or freezing, and 55mb/s write speed on USB 3.
It doesn't heat up much and the only thing I noticed is that after 1 year, the letters on the external surface have faded. Now, with a lifetime warranty, I always check if that's available before buying again!
On USB 3 connection, the recording has a continuous fluctuation of 25 to 35mb/s, but for its price, it's fine. Update: It started several times not being recognized by the computer when I connect it.
I bought the 128 gb version. The USB consistently writes at a speed between 40-50 mb/s. Very good flash drive and lifetime warranty. The construction is plastic, but it is recommended. Note that I bought it for 14.50 including shipping.
