These shoes were really a very bad choice. They are of good quality, but they are terribly uncomfortable for the child! We got them when he started walking (11 months) as his first shoes and they are the worst. With the soft soles, he runs, but with these, he falls in 3 steps. They are heavy, with very hard plastic parts, which do not help with balance and additionally, the baby cannot handle them because he does not have a good sense. Also, he easily takes them off - often because he doesn't want them at all. I believe they are worth it for older children, 2 years and older, who need foot protection and support. I would not buy them again under any circumstances
