Solid construction, flawless operation
It does not have a stable "burning" time for a steady intensity-setting value. It burns quickly and due to the fluctuations in burning time, sometimes it burns the nylon or the welding to be imperfect... I have been using it until today, measuring each time so as not to burn more... In today's use, it started emitting smoke and broke after 40 days of use (2-3 times a week) and in a small number of packages.
In 4 years, I changed 3 hot glue guns. And all 3 times, the plastic broke at the point where the iron presses to give the command to work. I bought the same one but with a metal casing and I relaxed.
Bigger in size than I expected. It does its job as it should, but if the bag is thin, it requires a little caution because it melts. I have had it for two years and I use it occasionally.
I bought it and after 30-40 bags it broke, it was still under warranty and my store replaced it for me, but with the new one I closed around 100 until it started producing smoke. Money wasted.
I have had it for about 5 months and I use it almost daily. It is a bit bulky, but it is very good in terms of quality and it makes very good welds. You just need to pay attention to the welding time, as it may be minimal in some materials and longer in others. It has a setting in seconds, but with experience, you can handle it without the timer. So far, it has not presented any problems. For its price, it is very good!
In one day, I did 400 solderings without any problem. Just in case, I bought an extra resistor, in addition to the spare one that was included in the box. Personally, I consider it very reliable for its price.
