After about 15 average 4-hour hikes, the side seam opened. The sole needs repair. They are indeed comfortable, with good waterproofing (not 100% waterproof) and a stable grip, but I would expect them to last longer. Good shoe with limited lifespan based on my experience.

The foot does not breathe much, so at temperatures above 5 degrees, the foot will start to sweat, resulting in a feeling of cold. The size compared to my athletic shoes is larger. Overall, it is fine for a winter walk.

They do not breathe at all and are very uncomfortable and tiring shoes. I couldn't wait to take them off. They seem quite durable in terms of construction. However, I had the Adidas Terrex before. The Adidas shoes are 10 classes superior.

I only have positive things to say and they have been tested in storms, snow, ice, sand, dirt, and asphalt. No discomfort in the feet even after walking 15 km on smooth and rough terrain. They support the entire foot and have an incredible midsole that makes a difference, providing stability like a boot and comfort like a sports shoe. Completely waterproof, warm, and comfortable to wear from 15 degrees and below, and even on rainy days, they are comfortable even at 20 degrees. The construction quality is top-notch. They are easily cleaned with a damp cloth. My first experience with The North Face shoes and it is indeed difficult to wear anything else afterwards. After 1.5 years and hundreds of kilometers, they still look like new.

It is important to know that in order for this shoe to provide you with everything it promises (proper fit, keeping your foot warm, proper ventilation, etc.), you must wear them with woolen socks. They are expensive shoes, but you get what you pay for!
