The shoes arrived today, and as soon as I wore them, I realized they are of high quality with excellent construction. They may seem a bit heavy to some, but personally, I have no issue with that. In athletic shoes, I usually wear a size 46, but for these, I went with a size 45. I think they are even better for walking than my athletic shoes. Very satisfied!!!

Did you find this review helpful?I bought them for work in Switzerland - I haven't felt my feet getting cold, not even in the snow, they are also waterproof - I walk an average of 20,000 steps every day and I don't feel any impact, they are warm, good quality construction. I was torn between these and the corresponding Timberland ones, which don't have the same waterproofing or as soft of a sole. The only thing I would recommend is to try them on before buying them - because in sports shoes I am a size 46 and I bought these in size 44 to fit me. Even the size 43.5 fit me but they were a little tight.
