Description

Of course, we do not overlook the "friendly" counter-argument of the well-fed on the other side. With subtle class irony, they claim, as they dance their establishment waltz, that the prospect of a Greece and a world without exploiters and the oppressed, without rich and poor, without capitalist "masters" and wage "slaves," at best constitutes quixotism and utopia. Equally "friendly," we respond: "A map of the world that does not contain Utopia is not worth even glancing at, for it leaves out the one country where Humanity will always land. And when it lands, it looks beyond and, seeing a better country, sets off for it. Progress is the realization of one Utopia after another."

Surely this "utopian" path of recreation and rebirth of Greece is not easy. However, it is a path infinitely easier and - in terms of results - evidently more realistic, as opposed to the dead-end road of incalculable, futile, and unbearable sacrifices to which the people and the country are subjected so that the plutocrats and their rotten political system can profit. This Greece of popular power and popular economy, the Greece of the socialist path of development, is the most mature and realistic demand of the times that "when the people will it, then destiny will bow."
