We have an old kitchen and it took about 30 minutes to fry a batch of potatoes, which I would describe as boiled-fried. With the Bormann, we fry 2 batches in 20 minutes and they are fried. Strong fire adjustable in 3 levels, low, strong, and medium (you adjust it by eye, it doesn't have its own position on the button). It seems to have a better construction quality and it is easy to clean. Also, the pipe to which the low-pressure regulator hose is connected rotates and can take different positions, and it is as thick as needed so that it doesn't release the oil when connecting the hose.

Excellent construction, economical (both in consumption and in the purchase, I bought it for 28€), very powerful and without having the knowledge, I feel that it reaches the stated Kw. It requires attention not to have an extractor fan above it or if it does, it should be at a satisfactory distance... otherwise it will ruin it
I am thrilled! I had another gas stove that had no power at all and the potatoes would turn out boiled instead of fried and it took too long. I was a bit skeptical when I bought it because I wanted to make tomato sauce and I was worried about how many hours it would take.
