For collectors mostly, for the appearance.
It cuts well but it's not so practical.
It's a framelock that adds to the appearance but it's difficult to open correctly, especially with so little money, so the knife doesn't open with one movement because it's too tight and it takes two hands or a strong flick simultaneously.
The pivot will be an issue because at the back where the blade ends, it's thicker.
I bought it mostly for my collection, if I wanted a knife for work I would choose something else, not that it won't do the job but you can find something more capable for less.
I have so many knives that anyway now I buy them to look at them, not to use them!

Ninja1 doesn't play with irons, Gerber is carbon steel, that's why it rusts and that's why they have made it black patina. Because it is not stainless steel...

The knife is one of the most beautiful from Gerber - in my opinion, of course. The blade is short and not sharp...
Otherwise, it is a lightweight and stylish knife, more compact than the juke from the same company, more minimal and more sophisticated due to the dual-tone on the blade.
It opens easily with one hand when required during work... and the belt clip is not huge and bulky. The body of the knife scratches relatively easily in areas where there is no bamboo, and the black color becomes... silver.
    My everyday carry knife!
