When does your child absorb better? In the morning, afternoon, or evening? Do they prefer to read sitting at the desk, on the floor, or in bed? Do they prefer to read alone or with company? With background music or in complete silence? These are just some of the information that could compose your child's unique learning style. What works effectively for one child may be a problem for another. By forcing our children to follow the same teaching methods, and especially the same monotonous model of education for many decades, ignoring their individual learning styles and psyches, we unfairly disadvantage them. We condemn children with special intelligence and talents to stay on the sidelines... We label the majority of students as "average", ignoring the fact that each of us has a hidden talent that often remains buried and untapped.
