It was purchased a year ago for €15 and I patiently waited for the known issues to be fixed. I started playing it on the Ps5 after the latest 1.6 patch. One thing I will say. Cyberpunk in its current form is simply EXCEPTIONAL. Those of you who have a Ps5, buy it with closed eyes. Incredible music, wonderful Night City, amazing atmosphere, and a plethora of missions. In one word, a GAME!!!
The game is terrible, the graphics look like PS3 graphics, the city is dull and empty, the frames constantly drop below 25. I don't know how they managed to release the game like this, it's better to get a PS5 or build a high-end PC to truly enjoy it.
The game is excellent. It is huge with very nice graphics and sound, and attention to detail that is evident even on the PS4. It has several bugs, it has crashed on me 2-3 times even on the latest patch for the PS4. However, the game is playable and you can enjoy it with some limitations. At a price of around 20 euros, it is highly recommended because at some point when you get a PS5, you will truly enjoy it
After the hype and the problems it had, they are now a thing of the past.. those who didn't have the chance to play it due to the issues it had, can now safely get it. The game is worth giving it a chance and getting lost in the rich world of Cyberpunk 2077. But definitely prefer it on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC
I started the game a few days ago and everything seems very good on the PS4 Pro, with minimal to no bugs... but it crashed on me a couple of times!!! I don't know why. Other than that, the game is very good!
Awesome game, I had played it on the PS5 but I can say that I experienced the ultimate experience on the computer and enjoyed it to the fullest... You should know that it requires a powerful computer. Now, if you play it on the PS4 and the basic version, you definitely won't like it as much... Let's go for the DLC Phantom Liberty
Perfect, and with the new update and expansion even better. One of the most interesting games for me of the last decade. You get lost in its world.
First, let's address the issue of bugs. In the ps5 version, there were none to be found. Everything was perfect. It had a quite interesting revenge storyline, with great performances, decent graphics, a good gameplay/combat system, nice looting and editing/upgrade system, as well as plenty of things to do. A great game to get involved with in general.
The 3-star rating only applies to the PS4 version - I've wanted to play this game for a long time, but I avoided buying it because of the bad comments about the bugs and glitches surrounding it. I even watched videos on YouTube where they mocked it, which made me snub it even more... Recently, I felt the desire to play it again and I said to myself, "How bad could it be?" I saw it in a used store in very good condition for 8 euros and I bought it. It includes 2 discs and requires around 100GB of space on the disk and around 40-something GB for the latest patch... Yes, it's huge... I started it, created my character just fine (the graphics are amazing), and entered the game... Oh, I thought, they really fixed it, I didn't see any trace of bugs... Until I progressed a little further in the game's story and the battles began, etc... The NPCs, where they were fighting, suddenly raised their hands as if they were crucified (it happened 2-3 times). My partner, who I was fighting with on missions, sometimes just wandered around the area without doing anything, even though he was supposed to shoot with me. When I was driving the car, the car's sound bugged out, so even though I pressed the gas, it sounded like I was putting the car in gear... I got stuck in objects a couple of times, but after some effort, I managed to get out and continue the story... I couldn't help but laugh... And I'm playing it on a PS4 Pro, which is supposed to be smoother than the regular PS4... In short, dear friends: the game has amazing graphics, a nice story, but let's not lie, the PS4 version is not worth it... Or rather, it's worth trying if you find it for no more than 10 euros. When you get a PS5, play it there where it doesn't have any issues - I wrote this whole thing to help the undecided (like I was) about whether to get the PS4 version or not... I hope I helped them understand what they will encounter if they try it
I was thinking of trying it on the PS4 Pro, but I got my hands on a PS5 and luckily started playing it there directly. By purchasing the PS4 disc, as soon as you put it in the console for the first time, it automatically pauses the installation and asks you which version you want. You choose PS5 and it downloads the entire game, version 1.6, through the network - the disc is only needed for authentication.
In its current form on the PS5, the game is clearly an AAA title that is worth much more money. It is evident that it suffered from the publisher's attempt to release it prematurely for previous-gen consoles. The graphics are fantastic, with a huge city bustling with life and NPCs, and the sound is exceptional. There is a lot of depth (at first, you might feel a bit overwhelmed) - it is definitely worth the extra money it costs now. One specific comment: several reviewers say that the ray tracing is a bit mild, as it mainly affects shadows and not so much reflections. While this is true, you may not be able to pinpoint exactly what changes when you turn it off, BUT if you see it enabled (it is incredibly smooth at 30fps), you can't go back to turning it off - without it, it feels a bit like a previous-gen game. It is understandable that previous-gen consoles cannot handle such heavy graphics, so many NPCs, so many reflections, so much...
I don't know what I would have done if I had bought it earlier. But for new players on the PS5, it is highly recommended.
I have no opinion before, as it was flooded with bugs (and there are still some now, but nothing major), but now I played it and even went on to platinum it. I liked it so much! The game is everything you would want in an open world! Fantastic characters and voice acting, very nice story mode, exceptional side missions (which is rare), very nice and different endings that you actually want to see and play, not just do them for the achievement. Panam is the most lovable character I have encountered in a game!
In conclusion, the game that I could compare it to is GTA and Cyberpunk, and for me, it is far superior. Almost in every aspect. In GTA, I finished the main story and gave up.
A few years ago, we may have decorated it and rightfully so, but now if you have the new consoles, I won't even discuss it, it's a beauty even though I finished it on the PS4 slim and with difficulty, I still have it on the PS5 and even though I have finished it, the game now with the new generation that gives you the best in terms of quality, etc. (free next-gen update)
I gave the three stars just to put them so that I can proceed with this post, I decided to take the risk due to the low price and I bought it recently for the ps4 pro, so I will update the post as soon as I start playing the game since as soon as you insert the data disc (it has 2 CDs inside, data and play disc) it forces you to do the mandatory update which is 58gb, I will come back for the user experience and whether it's worth someone to deal with on the ps4!
So, update 16.3, I have played for about 4 hours and I can say that the game plays quite well except for the fps which is understandable not to be perfect, after all, the 4 has started to show its age a bit in newer games, it definitely worth the money especially at such a low price that you can find it, the city especially at night is amazing and you have the full cyberpunk experience at 101%!
The most interesting RPG I have played!! Amazing graphics..movie-like storyline..very good character development..the map is very large and diverse..great replayability with different playstyles. I didn't expect it to be this good.
If I have to mention a negative...it's that it doesn't explain enough about what it offers..you discover things gradually on your own
If the game was released as it is now and after the latest update 1.60, it would reach incredible numbers. I have installed it on my PS5 with VRR, simply amazing, just buy it if you have a PS5
Really, don't buy it for ps4, it's a waste, I expected them to fix it since it came out, but it's still a mess.
I didn't get it on the PS4, but I bought it on the PS5 (free upgrade from the PS4) for 15 euros.
The game is excellent, if it was released today as new on the PS5 and had a price of 70 euros, it would easily justify its money. It's one of the few games that I completed all the side quests, and I will start it again from the beginning with a different character build, and see a different ending

I waited until the PS5 edition came out to play. With a purchase at 15 euros, I feel like I stole from them.
What can you say about this game? A pure RPG that immerses you in the story. I completely overlook small bugs that I have seen, such as someone driving a car and the steering wheel never turning while the car turns, etc. I have played countless games over the years with bigger flaws. The player customization is endless, as are the build options.
I know that on the PS4, it runs smoothly, even on the Pro. But if someone owns a PS5, they should get it without hesitation, put in the CD, download the PS5 edition for free, and get lost in Night City.
It's a shame it wasn't like this from the beginning, it would have become a legend.
It's nice, something different that all game lovers should try, everything we wanted to see for many years is now in this game, I liked it and I was satisfied with the 15 euros I bought it for, now for 60 euros and in the 4th one it's not worth it, any for the 5th
I start with three stars only for the graphics downgrade, which is very noticeable on the PS4. Imagine that for an open-world game, it is much inferior in graphics compared to The Last of Us 1 and Days Gone. Obviously, it was either created for newer platforms or something went wrong in the design for the PS4. Additionally, it directly installed the latest update 1.51, which is the same size as the entire game, around 52GB. And it was purchased now only because I found it on a three-day offer from a major electronics chain for 14.90 euros. (And let's be honest, I believe that this is its real price). I will come back with a newer evaluation of the gameplay after the big update.
Well, I will try to be objective. I bought the game now that it is on sale, but to play it in the future when I get a PS5. I thought I wouldn't find it cheaper later, so I bought it. However, I couldn't resist and decided to start playing it. I haven't played much, only about seven hours, but from what I've seen, I will share my first impressions. It has frame drops, especially in areas where it loads assets in the background. But I also encountered some frame drops during a shootout in an office where objects were being destroyed. It runs at around 30 frames per second with a resolution of 720-900p, and it has some pop-up, but I didn't notice it too much. The graphics are not great compared to games like Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Last of Us 2, but it is partly understandable because it had to be downgraded to run on the PS4. (A big flaw of the studio, it should have been developed for these consoles since the PS5 was announced.) The story, from what I've seen so far, is interesting because essentially I have only played the prologue. I encountered a bug around the 6:30 mark, where the sound of the gunshots during a car chase was not audible, but this was resolved when I paused the game a couple of times using the option button. The sound and music are very good, but because I played with headphones, I'm not sure if the headphones were the cause of some slight popping or crashing sounds during dialogues. The fan of the PS4 can be heard to some extent, but it doesn't reach jet levels. I should note that it is clean and has new thermal paste applied, as I have done this maintenance six months ago. Honestly, the game seems to have potential. I don't know how it will be after the story, but it seems like a lot of effort was put into its writing. If someone has a PS5 and wants to play it, they should know that, apart from a couple of bugs, everything I mentioned is improved twofold because the next-gen update has been released, which is available for free to owners of the game (you have to find the update yourself). The game is played in first-person, and only when driving can the camera change (fortunately, because driving is just for getting around the missions and doesn't serve any other purpose, and the cars don't have the weight of other games). On the PS4 Pro, the game runs better compared to the Slim version that I played, but I'm not sure exactly what graphical improvements it has, apart from the resolution and the stable 30 frames per second. Of course, someone who plans to get a new console can buy it at this price. I imagine that the price won't drop so low in the future because of the new update. Let it be on the shelf for the new console. I would recommend not playing it on a regular PS4 because the PS5 version is much superior in terms of visuals and audio, and Night City is beautiful and interesting to explore. Finally, I have uploaded four screenshots to show the game's graphics on the PS4. Don't worry, they don't contain any spoilers; they are from the beginning of the game. P.S. I have to give credit to the company because in the standard edition I bought, it included a booklet with some lore of the game, three postcards, stickers, and a map of the city. Nowadays, it has become disgusting with the empty plastic game cases. Update July 2022: I played the game from start to finish on PS4. It has problems, and there are quite a few of them. At certain points, the character would get stuck and not move, and the pop-in had issues mainly with enemies. Generally, when I was driving at high speeds in the car, the application crashed at points where I was going from one part of the city to another, it crashed about 15-20 times throughout the duration I played. The frame rate remained relatively stable at 30fps. I will emphasize that I was not playing on an SSD disk, so it is possible that the SSD helps compared to the HDD. The story and missions were what drew me in. Some people may not like it, but the dialogue and missions are well-written. The character played by Keanu Reeves is one of the strong points of the game, something I didn't really believe before playing it. The voice acting and soundtrack are the best parts of the game. If someone only focuses on the main missions, they will see the credits in 25 hours. It's worth exploring the side quests as well, as they are interesting and have variety, from mystery plots to car races, etc. I did everything in the game in one playthrough and it took me around 85-90 hours to finish it, and when I say everything, I mean everything. Overall, as a game, I would say it has issues, but it seems that the developers are working to fix it. I don't think it will ever be perfect on PS4 or Xbox One. The best possible experience is to play it on PS5/Xbox Series X/S or PC. The next generation should improve many issues, especially in the visual aspect. I don't know if it fixes all the bugs, but the fact that updates are released every 5-6 months with mass fixes is positive
I will talk about my experience with the PS4 Pro, exactly one year after its release. I bought it solely for the cyberpunk aesthetic, which is what sells and out of genuine curiosity to see what exactly is happening with the whole thing. The concept is the only thing it does well. In all other aspects, it is just mediocre, and if you don't exaggerate the game, it doesn't work...
I don't know what happens on other platforms, but on the PS4 Pro, from a certain point onwards, you simply count the mistakes and glitches to the point of disgust. I thought they had fixed most of them, but it probably applies to other platforms, or I just can't imagine how the game was in December 2020. It simply doesn't work. Period. No immersion in the world, which was the only thing I wanted from this game. In battles, if you make a wrong move that wasn't predicted by the company, something will happen and the whole experience will be ruined, whether it's related to AI, graphics, or frames. The exploration of the world didn't excite me at all, as the radio rarely worked when I was driving, or someone would call me from the game for a side mission just to make the frames drop to the ground or sometimes the game would crash completely. Overall, it's completely unreliable even now, you never know if it will work properly.
On the positive side, surprisingly, it has quite nice graphics (when there are no texture poppings), a stunning soundtrack during battles, which literally gave them character, enough lore that could have been explored more, and finally a pretty good story, especially at the beginning of the game (it was truly stunning, I must say, but towards the end, it became a bit indifferent). Also, along with the game, you get 3 nice postcards, a map, and a very nice booklet with information about the world that you probably will never see, but it's a pleasant distraction while the 70 GB update is downloading.
It's truly a shame for such a concept to be destroyed by such a terrible implementation. I hope that a similar type of game will come out from a company that will execute it properly. It's really a pity, and I had all the goodwill to love it despite its problems, something that is ultimately not possible since they greatly affect the experience on many levels. Don't buy it, maybe just out of curiosity, it's really a waste of money.
The game is epic. Presumably, the negative reviews were written before the bugfixes were made. Knowing that it had many problems when it was first released, I waited patiently until they were fixed and I got a PS5. The game runs smoothly, no glitches or bugs.
- Graphics 9/10.
- Gameplay 9/10. The gunplay is enjoyable. However, there are so many options that you can get lost somewhere.
You can play stealthily, confront everyone head-on, hack, it has so many different weapons, body modifications, substances, hacks that you lose track.
- Story 10/10. Awesome and original main story. Even the side quests are interesting.
- Sound 10/10. Awesome music.
Finally, the world is quite large with many interesting distractions that divert you from the quests, such as drinks at bars, substance abuse, etc.
Terribly bad. Everything they promised was a lie and it never existed in the PS4 version of the game. Too many bugs and excessive gaps in every aspect. It's not worth your money at all. On a scale of 10, I would give it a maximum of 2.5/10. Awful game
I had heard many negative comments about the game, but now that I bought it, especially in a collector's edition, I wondered why I didn't get it earlier. Almost no bugs and a masterpiece for the collection
Now a Ps5 owner. The game runs smoothly and flawlessly. Very immersive and great music. Personally, I love it because it now has very few bugs. I should note that I had it much earlier when I had the 4, but I didn't play it because it had a lot of framedrops.

Owner of ps5. Clearly for this money and with the updates that have been released so far, it is full value for money. Very good experience, I definitely recommend it to ps5 users. I have no opinion on other consoles.
P.S. It's not perfect, it still has many flaws in terms of AI and some other areas, but now we're talking about 18 euros
It's worth its money, it's a great game, the only negative points are the long loading times and the few bugs, the story and the graphics are perfect.
The game is good overall. The bugs I have encountered are negligible and did not affect the gameplay. Do not listen to the tragic reviews that bury it. I started influenced by these reviews and they really have no substance. In the end, gamers are quite whiny. I have deducted 2 stars for very specific reasons. One is the countless dialogues (and meaningless) that interrupt the action and make you bored - luckily there is a skip option, and the second is the long loadings. Other than that, we have an open world shoot em up, with many weapons, many vehicles, RPG elements in terms of ability/skill/progress system, and a highly interactive environment. Yes, it is chaotic because as you progress through the main story, countless side missions open up. It takes time, it's not a quick game like soccer or basketball, I play for half an hour and I'm okay. It takes many many hours to delve deep into it. There are also various ways to approach NPCs, either with ruthless shooting or trap hacking. Original and at the price it has reached, you definitely need to try it.
As a game, it is purely a masterpiece and worth its money all this time. People who have never played it missed out. It is now much better in terms of bugs
The game does indeed have quite a few bugs, but that's not the worst part for me. The issue is that I constantly experience frame drops and the graphics would be more fitting for a game from 2012.
