I bought it for single player because I don't like online. I didn't even get to the point of evaluating the game experience simply because I never played it. After you install it, it asks for 90 GB of updates and when you download them, only the multiplayer pack appears and asks you to pay to download the rest of the add-ons to unlock the campaign. Tragic
Regarding the gameplay, the campaign is only 5 hours long. I finished it in 2 days. I had the same problem as other users, the screen would turn black and the game would crash. The solution is to delete all the add-ons and download them again, which will take another 5 days
As I said, I will come back with a better review and rating for the game.
Initially, I bought the game for 27.80€ for PlayStation 4 slim.
The game is huge in terms of storage capacity, taking up a total of 201.1GB on the hard drive. One of the reasons for the large GB size is that you have to download the Call of Duty Warzone Last Stand and the very large DLCs required for the game (Modern Warfare), which are 4 and each one is over 20GB.
The first time the game is installed, the first 70GB (which is the Warzone) will be installed, along with the rest that I mentioned above.
Now I can play the Campaign (which was locked the first time - mode available after full installation). The same applies to CO-OP and the STORE. And the second time (after the first updates), it appeared as Missing data pack. Finally, everything is fine with the latest installations of the DLC.
Now, about the game.
The game is worth 1000! Very good graphics and good sound of the game. The story is very good and will keep you interested for many hours.
The same goes for the multiplayer it has.
For me personally, it is worth having it in your collection. And if you are one of the people who played the previous series on PlayStation 3, be patient because Modern Warfare 2 is coming soon.
I don't give it 5 stars in the rating. It loses one star solely because of the installations and updates that are required, which take a whole day, and the storage space it occupies...
I hadn't spent so many hours playing a game in a long time. Especially during quarantine. It's not a coincidence that Warzone has reached over 80 million players.
Apart from that, for those who complain that it's huge (which it is), there is the option to choose the files/modes that you want to install, resulting in a decrease in the required GB.
It is the best game for first-person shooter. The multiplayer has many maps and customization options. Its graphics are very nice and realistic. It accurately and vividly revives the spirit of the modern warfare series. I highly recommend it to anyone who has doubts.
I bought it through the ps4. The first time I tried the camping, it showed a black screen after 2 minutes and the same thing happened online. Really a waste of money.
DO NOT BUY IT. Besides the fact that it takes hours for the add-ons and everything related to download, like another game that you don't want but have to endure without a way to get rid of it (warzone), the game, while playing either campaign or multiplayer, after a while it goes black screen and throws you out. I tried many ways to solve it but nothing worked. Every time I tried to play, same story. Many other players faced the same problem and none of them could play it. I cried for the money I spent. Very disappointing. DO NOT BUY IT.
Great game. One of the games that carries the cod franchise. First of all, it has a good (relatively) multiplayer. Its campaign is simply excellent, without gaps and plot holes. Tremendous soundtrack and very good graphics. I highly recommend the game. If I were to score it out of 10, it would be a 9.2/10. Tremendous game and worth your money
I will only talk about the campaign, as I haven't played online. Incredible graphics, sound, and gameplay, to the point where in a couple of missions you think you're watching a movie. What bothered me was the storyline. Purely propagandistic. It's a shame, and I would have given it a 5/5.
After the TERRIBLE Black Ops 4, I didn't have high expectations for cod, but then came Modern Warfare...
It has the BEST graphics, animations, and sound effects in cod. Sometimes I felt like I was playing a Military Sim on PC. The campaign is very nice with exceptional voice acting (especially Captain Price). Also, in some missions, you enter very realistic scenarios. But it is very short, we're talking about a maximum of 5 hours even playing on veteran. The multiplayer is the best of all cod on PS4, pure cod, without lootboxes and nonsense. Gunplay is the best, movement as well, and the time to kill is good. Weapon customization is perfect, you can even create other weapons. The maps are so-so. Where I was disappointed was with the spec ops. The open missions are very difficult and even with a team of veterans of the series, we couldn't complete Operation Paladin and the old ones are very few now, there are about 5 and it was released with 1. But it's worth it as a game overall.
It is a pretty good game, it has an amazing campaign, especially if you play it in realism mode, it feels like you are actually there. The downside is that it is somewhat short, about 5 hours. The multiplayer is also good, but what holds it back are the maps, as there are many areas where someone can become a camper. I don't really like the spec-ops mode, as it is extremely difficult to finish in my opinion. It would have been better if it hadn't been released, because it's not that enjoyable, it easily frustrates someone. In conclusion, I would recommend buying it when it is on sale. PlayStation sometimes offers it with a good discount. I got it for 35 euros from the PlayStation store. It's not worth the full price of 65 euros
200gb for 5 hours of gameplay.. We are also those who don't really enjoy online gaming (multiplayer), what can we do.
Children, Cretan ones are peculiar because personally they are the best cod since it is grounded in reality, not future or past
Incredibly graphics and very nice story and gameplay. The only negative is that it ends quickly for its price.
An excellent game. The campaign, although short (around 5 hours, with a relaxed walkthrough it can reach 6.5), is very enjoyable. The sound is something else, combined with the stunning graphics, it is perhaps the most realistic game I have played. The multiplayer is very good and satisfying, with maps that are either old remastered ones or new ones, and you don't get bored easily. The co-ops left me indifferent in the 10 minutes I played. Warzone is free, but still very good. A very good game, I have no complaints about the 52 euros I bought it for in April 2020, if you find it for under 40 or 35, I think it will be a very good opportunity.
A year later, I am able to say that it is the best Call of Duty game after 10 years of the series, following Black Ops 2. It has incredible graphics and many details, definitely a lot of work has been put into it. However, it is a bit toxic in multiplayer, with some maps being too big and having many campers. It is definitely a Call of Duty game that should not be missing from the collection of a fan of the series. Hopefully, we will see more games like this in the future
I bought it based on what I saw in video posts and comments... I was very excited, but in the end, it wasn't something wow when I played it. Of course, this is purely a matter of adaptation and taste.
It took 1 day to download 70 GIGA memory. As soon as it downloads, everything is locked, multiplayer campaign, everything. And the worst part is that it asks for a subscription to play. Truly the worst, I regret the 70 euros I spent
To begin with, I should mention that I am not a fan of multiplayer games. I bought this game solely for the campaign and spec ops. The storyline and gameplay in the campaign are exceptional, with fantastic graphics and attention to the smallest detail that makes you feel like you're experiencing the missions yourself (which would even impress real-life operators or experienced military personnel). Unfortunately, the spec ops mode has nothing to do with those in MW2, at least for me. It is a very short game that took me only half a day to finish, and I replayed it in realism mode. After that, I uninstalled it because it takes up nearly 200GB (which you have to download after installing the CD and is necessary even for the campaign and spec ops). In conclusion, if you don't plan on investing time in the multiplayer, it's not worth the €55. However, if it's priced at €25 or below, it's okay for the 14-16 hours of single-player experience.
The game is very good, however, I am still waiting for it. I ordered it from 24market and it still hasn't arrived. I have been waiting literally for 2 weeks and now the option to buy the game from there is no longer available.
It is very good with the new updates and the new title in combination with Warzone takes it to another level
I bought the game in May for the PS4 and I regret not getting it earlier. It's the first Call of Duty game I've played and I'm at least impressed. After a looooong time, I saw a game with serious characters (you might say they're not new). Obviously, I'm talking about Captain Price and Alex (in the campaign). The campaign is nice, short, and fast.
In terms of graphics and sound, it's exceptional.
As a multiplayer and battle royale game for the PS4, this game is a must-have because it's the only one set up for console as a shooter.
Now, regarding Warzone and the many pieces of information/rumors coming from data miners...
They have found many different things that say all Call of Duty games will be rebooted and Black Ops will be in the same universe as Modern Warfare with a parallel story.
The incredible thing is that Warzone becomes part of the Campaign with the Intel challenges...
Also, with all of this... we are eagerly awaiting a huge update (presumably) along with the new Call of Duty game that will bring multiplayer to Warzone, lots of money and accessories for competitive gaming...
We have a lot to say here. Firstly, the story mode of the game is a reboot of the classic Modern Warfare storyline, with beloved characters like Captain Price, as well as new characters who have their place in the game and are interesting. My only complaint is that it is short and can be finished in 7 hours. As for Spec Ops, I haven't played it at all, so I don't have an opinion. The multiplayer mode, on the other hand, I can say is one of the top 3 multiplayer games in the Call of Duty series. Many criticize the maps, but they are not as bad as they say. Additionally, Infinity Ward adds special playlists with fan-favorite maps from the game, as well as remastered maps from the classic Modern Warfare games (Shipment, Backlot, Crash, Rust, Scrapyard, Hardhat). The weapon customization options are truly unreal, you will spend hours and hours in the create a class menu as I believe it is the Call of Duty game with the most realistic and diverse options one can make. Recently, Activision removed hackers from lobbies, although I have never encountered any, and everything is now good for all players. It would be good to disable Cross Play to play exclusively with PS4 users, as the game cannot be hacked on consoles. As for Warzone, even though it can be acquired for free, I will say a few things about it because it is considered a part of Modern Warfare 2019. It is easily the best Battle Royale game at the moment. The games with friends and solo run very smoothly, the weapon choices and overall customization will satisfy all players, and every minute playing Battle Royale or Plunder will be enjoyable (unless you get killed by someone you initially had).

Is it worth it? -Yes, obviously it is worth it and it will go down in history as one of the good Call of Duty games.
At what price should I buy it? -I believe 40 euros is a decent price for a game that you will spend over 100 hours gaming on, especially if you are a fan of First Person Shooters
Literally the disgrace in all its glory. First installation, 45 gigabytes. Okay, I say, logical. Then comes the update, 90-something gigabytes. I say okay, I don't care since I don't plan on playing multiplayer, so it doesn't affect me in any way, it's still playable, no matter which game you play (since it says that the update concerns the online capabilities of the Playstation in general). I start it up, even the single player/campaign is locked until the update is done. I've already lost 2 and a half - 3 days. After 3 and something days, it finally finishes, I say finally. Useless, all the modes are locked again, even the single player campaign, they all required more updates, to download tracks, and various free DLCs, which altogether amounted to another 100 gigabytes. I mean, for 5 hours of gameplay, I don't know, to wait for 1 week of useless downloads, it's at least tragic.
I haven't bought it. I speak as a fan of the black ops series with my favorite being bo2. Crossplay is a huge plus compared to the other cod games since you can play with a friend who has a ps4 and not a pc. I don't give it 5 stars because I believe that the blackout mode in bo4 was better than warzone, but warzone is at the favorite price of Greeks, which means it's free. The company allowed you to create your own loadout and use it in the game, which is another plus. The multiplayer is the classic one that we all know and love, with new maps and modes that didn't exist before. However, I think the company could have released warzone as a separate download instead of having it take up 100 GB, considering that most consoles have up to 1 TB of storage. I would buy this game, but not in its physical form.
It has many hackers and the company does not do much about it.
It puts you on servers that have a difference in ping compared to you, like us from Greece playing with 110 ping and the opponent with 17 and 30, you can't compete with them, they are always one step ahead of you
Whoever sees this comment, I will tell them one thing... Get it without a second thought. I don't know why it has 4 stars, but after playing for 2 weeks, I think I'm hooked. I highly recommend it, and if you have friends who have already bought it, then my friend, you're already late to get it!

Probably the series made a very good reboot and even after some shallow moves (like infinity) that ruined it.
The game is very good. Finally, a title that gives you joy to play a shooter without all the frills. Also, with the brave patches that have been released since November, the multiplayer has improved a lot. A negative aspect, like most multiplayer titles nowadays, is that various packages now require in-game purchases and are not rewards through specific challenges. Unfortunately, the game now gives an advantage to those who plan to spend money, even after they have already paid to buy it, but it still remains fun to play
You are all little kittens, Modern Warfare 3 is simply the best online multiplayer Call of Duty out of all that have been released
