"The inner child" refers to that part of ourselves that ultimately lives, acts, creates, and completes. It is our true self - who we really are.

The book describes the journey of discovering and healing our fears and unhappiness. The book starts from the point where many of those who dealt with the description of adult children of alcoholics stop. It also describes and develops the general perception of adult children from problematic or dysfunctional families.
