So-so, I would say. They could definitely have a lower price. I don't care about the nice packaging or the box they come in. What matters to me is where the headphones are, so I wouldn't want to pay for these extras. The sound is very treble-heavy, with minimal bass, which is a big downside for me because I really like a lot of bass in what I listen to. I have also previously bought much cheaper headphones with incredible bass. Despite the fact that the sound is very clear, the intensity of the high trebles almost gives you a headache and you have to lower them, resulting in not being able to hear when playing. I only got these for simple and casual gaming, so I can't judge them for music yet, at least.
I think I would recommend them if the price dropped, because €30 is too much for their sound.
My ears hurt a little after long use (2+ hours), maybe it's my fault. The sound is very good for the price and for nitpicking. The microphone that comes with it is unnecessary and pointless since the basic one does its job.
I wanted over-ear headphones because they are more comfortable. The sound is satisfactory for both music and casual gaming. I wouldn't recommend it for mastering any record or playing in a Counter-Strike tournament. They are just headphones for simple things. The same applies to the microphone, which is useful but not suitable for making a deal with a record label.
The build quality is so-so because the volume control switch is very inconvenient and has minimal range of movement, so it's practically useless.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the included carrying case is very useful and exactly what you need.
As a person who is not comfortable with headsets due to the headache they cause me shortly after a little use, I went for this specific category of gaming headphones and this choice suited me quite well.
In general, for about €17 you get a product that I wouldn't call worth buying if it wasn't for its low price. The build material will always remind you that it was cheap, not that you expect it to have the same quality as Razer and Logitech, but I believe it's reasonable, considering you're paying 20-30% of the money you would pay for headphones from the aforementioned brands...
Personally, I had no problem with the sound provided by these headphones. The volume, as well as the bass, are sufficient and more than enough for me. Yes, I agree with most users that for Battle Royale type games, the volume may not be enough to hear every step of the opponent, especially if there is noise in the house, since they cannot isolate external noise (which is logical, as they are budget headphones...).
As for the microphone, I had a little issue. In calls via Telegram and during online classes, either the other person could hear themselves, probably because of the microphone, or I could hear myself if others opened their microphone.
In conclusion, I believe it is worth the purchase for someone who neither wants big on-ear headsets nor cares much about strong, bass-heavy, and clear sound. Regarding the issue with the microphone, maybe I received a faulty piece, perhaps...
After reading all the comments, I bought them but I don't understand why no one wrote that they don't have sufficient sound, their sound is low and when I play, I can't hear footsteps clearly, etc... rip 28 euros
It is a good choice for the money (I bought them for 17€).
The sound they produce is clear, although there is a lack of bass and intensity. Of course, we can't have it all in this budget. Sound is a matter of habit, if you are used to bass, the clear sound will sound strange to you and vice versa.
As for the microphone, it is not something amazing, it does its job, the other side can hear you clearly. That's what matters... Plus, the fact that it is detachable is an advantage.
In terms of comfort, they are good in my opinion. The "rubber wings" they have definitely provide stability and better grip. Personally, I removed them because they bothered me. After hours of gaming, they didn't bother me and they didn't fall off my ears.
Their construction material is mostly plastic. This means they are lightweight, offering comfort and are more resistant to falls. However, how much they will withstand... is uncertain.
The sound isolation is obviously not perfect since we are talking about in-ear headphones. If you want better isolation, press the headphones further into your ears, although I don't recommend it, it is the only solution.
Inside the packaging, there is a convenient carrying case, a cable that converts one plug into two (microphone and audio) for the computer, the detachable microphone, spare rubber tips (3 pairs in total), and a sticker with the GXT series logo.
In conclusion, these headphones are a good option for those who want affordable and decent headphones for temporary use. Those who are looking for perfect headphones will not be satisfied with these. They are a good choice for around 20€.
Very good product.
I don't have an opinion on how good the bass is (I'm not knowledgeable about the subject in general).
Personally, I am satisfied with the headphones both as a gaming/movies alternative to a headset and as hands-free.
The detachable microphone is not the best, but that's understandable.
I haven't heard any complaints about voice quality (when not using the detachable microphone) in my conversations.
The only negative thing I could add is the following:
- due to the construction, in the beginning (for me it was 1-2 weeks of daily use) the plastic part that protrudes (EDIT: not the triangular one, but the round one - right after the rubber bell) will hurt your ears because it hits a hard spot on your ear and requires adjustment from the body (hardening!!)
Regarding the locking mechanism with the rubber band, it works well and secures.
That's it. I recommend it anyway
Good construction, the microphone is very good, it comes with a case and you can easily store all the accessories. The only complaint I have is that the sound of Samsung headphones for 10 euros is better. But overall, with everything they offer, they are worth their money.
Very good headphones/earphones. I bought them mainly for the long cable and the adapter that comes with the package, as my previous headphones didn't have the length I wanted. Also, I have reached the point where headsets tire me because they are usually heavy and press on my head, resulting in a headache after 5 minutes. Their sound for competitive games and generally in other categories is satisfactory. The microphone is normal, not extreme. On Discord, after many hours of use, I can confidently say that it does its job well. Don't compare them to headsets, you buy them because they are in-ear. As for those who say that they may have received a defective or malfunctioning product, it's simply a bad batch and can happen with any product.
The best headphones I have ever tried. I have had them for 3 months already and I can say that I am very satisfied. It also comes with a case, a second microphone, an extension cable, and extra buds. I bought them again at the same price for an important person and they liked them too. I will also write about my experiences and opinions about these headphones.
The music sounds perfect and my ears feel comfortable. However, be careful to clean your ears frequently, otherwise it will start slipping and I don't just mean inside the ear, but also around the ear. I can focus on my phone without hearing any noise. At first, it may be difficult to hear others, but as time passes, you will get used to it and be able to hear everything. I don't know, but I have good hearing.
They are perfect for gaming. With the connected microphone, you can talk to other players without interruptions or scratching sounds. I play PUBG and other various games and I can talk to other players clearly on Discord. I have also tested it on a sound application to see how I sound. If you remove the microphone, you can use the second one it has, which is the volume adjustment. I don't recommend using it for gaming, but in case a friend calls you, it works well.
I like its adjustment, it is convenient. Instead of pressing the + and - buttons on your phone, you can slide from the headphones. Also, press the button once to pause the playing music. Press it twice to go to the next song and three times to go to the previous one.
I will say one last thing about its accessories. I'm not crazy about the buds, it was difficult to find the right size for me. The extension cable is very useful, but I don't use it much. You can connect the headphones to your computer and play games there. For some reason, the headphones don't work on my computer, it doesn't recognize them.
That's all I have to say. I recommend it to everyone! It's worth the money.
Quite satisfactory in sound, and the microphone performs relatively well. Do not expect external noise isolation, it cannot do it, but for its price, this is reasonable. The main problem I had is that after 1-2 hours of use, it causes pain in the ears.
I bought these specific headphones because I have an issue with my neck and I can't handle the weight of a regular headset. Their microphone is good, but it is very sensitive... meaning you have to lower the volume to hear others speaking. Overall, they are pretty good and definitely worth their money
Well, I've had them for about 2 weeks..
Comfort: after about 20 minutes they start to bother me..
Sound: the sound is good and loud.
Isolation: you have contact with the outside world but they don't disappoint..
Conclusion: with €10 you can find the same features, you pay for the brand rather than quality.. you can take them or leave them
It's a shame that no one writes about these headphones!
I tried everything except for sound isolation from the environment, but helloooo, it's logical (since they don't cover the entire ear)!!
I have to say that I tried the headphones with music (I even did a bass test and for me, they worked perfectly fine)....with games (escape from tarkov) I'm interested in knowing where the sounds come from (footsteps, gunfire, etc.) and they covered me on that....I even got used to them! I believe you have to get used to ALL headphones, whether they are expensive or cheap! As an owner of the HyperX Cloud Alpha....can you compare them? Of course not! 100€ vs 25€....
Why did I choose these headphones and why should you get them:
1. If you don't want to sweat during the summer and have everything on your ears feel sweaty.
2. If you don't want them to be uncomfortable or tight on your head!
3. If you don't want your hair to get tangled!
4. If you actually want the sound not to be isolated so you know what's happening around you!
5. If you want a 2-in-1 for both mobile and PC!
Why shouldn't you get them:
1. If you want them for professional use, obviously they won't do.
2. If you want to hear every little sound in games, they might not work. I'll come back to this for games.
3. If you want a powerful bass and full isolation!
4. If you have a lot of noise at home...you might lose some sound quality.
I should add that the microphone works perfectly fine on teamspeak (you might need to go to the settings and boost it by 30%).
If you have a laptop with only one audio jack, it will use the laptop's microphone....
you need to use the extension for the microphone to work. Be careful to fully connect the extension cables together, otherwise if you can't hear anything from the headphones, it might be because of that....don't worry!
The cable is a simple plastic cable....I don't know how long it will last unfortunately....maybe if it's available in the market, we can dress it up because the headphones are worth it....especially for 25€.
UPDATE: 2 years later...they are still like new, I use them every day. As for games, you can hear very well where the opponent is coming from, you just need to position the microphone as close to your mouth as possible! I would buy them again!
