I have been using Z Coils with Zenith I and II for almost two years now. I never had any issues, I considered them to be one of the best coils on the market.
For the first time (and after deciding that I have no intention of quitting vaping anytime soon), I decided to buy 3 packs of 5 coils each to have a stock for a while (and to save on shipping). Big mistake. It's been 4 days and I have already gone through 10 coils, while in the past, one coil would last me over a week, sometimes even two.
After searching on the internet, I saw that many people generally have problems with these coils. Some last only a few hours, others burn out after the first 4-5 puffs, and in some cases, they have a burnt taste from the first puff. Innokin has made no effort to recall these batches, even though they are completely useless and they let people waste their money without knowing anything.
Along with a crazy fiasco I experienced with the Coolfire Z80, Innokin is dead to me. Never again.

For the duo prime 0.6ohm coils.
There is something completely wrong with these coils. While their technology makes sense and they really consume e-liquid at very high rates, they don't give any flavor at all. Specifically, as soon as you put them in, for 8 to 10ml of e-liquid (less than a day's worth due to liquid consumption), they give you a very light taste sensation, and then the flavor disappears and it's like vaping pure base. This can continue for many ml (I have tested it up to 100) since they don't burn easily. In terms of e-liquid consumption, it's like vaping 0.3ohm at 35 watts. Additionally, in each box, at least 1 coil was short-circuited. So far, I have used 4 boxes in a zlide top with kroma 217 at 13 watts. With the same setup, using a 1.6ohm z coil at the same wattage that I have for my MTL vaping due to less vapor production, things are much better since e-liquid consumption is normal and you have some flavor, even if somewhat weak, throughout the coil's lifespan. I am truly disappointed.
Update
After many trials, I found that the Kroma 217's coil+ is what diminishes the flavor in these coils. As soon as I selected the HARD wattage mode, the flavor, even if slightly weakened, returned and remained, which is why I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Did you find this review helpful? I have been using z coils for almost 3 years in zlide, zenith ii, and kroma z. I have tried them all and I rank them as follows: (a note at the end)
Category 1: 0.8 - The best in terms of flavor, performance, and longevity. It gives a very satisfying hit at 16-17 watts.
Category 2: 1.6, 0.3, 1.0 - The 1.6 is very good for a cigarette-like hit, although personally I don't like vaping at such low wattages. The 0.3 is also very strong, providing a tight lung hit or a very airy cigarette-like hit at 30-35 watts (I wouldn't recommend going higher regardless of what it says about its limits) with a nice flavor. The 1.0 is a love or hate coil, in my opinion, as it gives a mixed sensation between cigarette-like and almost lung hit at 20-22 watts, but I quite like it and use it frequently.
Category 3: 0.5, 0.48 - Not bad, but indifferent.
Category 4: 1.2 - They never lasted more than 10ml for me. There have been instances where they burned out on the second refill, as if you were vaping it for 6 months.
In conclusion, the quality of these coils has dropped significantly lately (I have noticed it in the past 2-3 months). They never had an amazing flavor, but at least the first two categories, especially the 0.8, had good longevity. With the 0.8, I used to get over 60ml easily and would change it for hygiene reasons. Once, I decided to see how long it would last, and it gave me around 120ml with almost the same performance. Now, even the 0.8 starts to struggle heavily at 30ml. As an example, out of a pack of 5 0.3 coils I bought, three have lasted from 10ml until now

Excellent resistors, I use them in zlide. Not even one has burned when I put it in. I don't exceed the limits that each one writes in watts. I always wait at least half an hour and wet the cotton when I change it. I change it every 15 days approximately, using 3-4ml per day. They usually come in more economical packs. When you feel that it doesn't have a good taste, it has a burnt or altered taste, or it doesn't draw well, it needs to be changed.

Did you find this review helpful? 2 out of 3 do not hold well when screwed resulting in the vaporizer coming off the box. It swims less times and does not screw at all on my Eleaf [istik pico X] at least. As a result, I have to screw on a thread extension and the vaporizer becomes longer.

They also deteriorated and at 30ml they are useless. I vaped with these for 2.5 years, around 35ml/day, and they lasted me 5-6 days each. Now they don't even last two days. The rebuildable atomizer is the only way to go now. A reliable rebuildable + a coil that lasts until the sun goes down, dear Innokin... and one star is more than enough for you.

Of course, I bought the same one again, and it's obvious that it still takes countless falls and it's still alive. There have been at least 10 knockouts, but this one, it endures! So, I believe it's very difficult for any other vaporizer to compete with its durability. Now, as for the flavor it gives me, again, I can only say the best things, and also its coils are something else... if the e-liquid you choose is not terribly cheap, the coil will definitely last easily for 3 weeks. My choice is the 1.6Ω, with a puffing range of 6-7W using a 50-50 liquid, it lasts me 7-8 days (approximately 40ml of liquid). No, they don't burn, but after 7-8 days, the flavor noticeably decreases and it gets clogged. I have burned them twice, and that's because I forgot and let the liquid run out in the atomizer (obviously my mistake, nothing to do with the construction of these coils).
I use them with Zenith II and Zenith atomizers (mods, Lost Vape Grus, Geekvape Solo, and Geekvape S100).
I won't comment on the taste because it becomes completely subjective after a certain point, but compared to my previous atomizers with Joyetech Clapton 1.5Ω coils, the combination of these coils with these specific atomizers is superior.
UPDATE 5/3/2022: Since I always note when I change coils, today I realized that I have been using the same coil for 13 whole days without any issues except for it being slightly clogged (we're talking about 600 puffs per day, at least 5 seconds each, always at 6W). Although I didn't have any leakage (when I disassembled the Zenith II to change the coil, it had just accumulated some condensation on the bottom cap from the inside, not from the e-cig side), the "Achilles' heel" is the wick of the coil.

Did you find this review helpful? I have tried the 0.8-0.48-0.3 and used them on the Kroma Z, they all performed well except for the 0.8 which gave me a burnt taste. I set it aside for a few days and then reattached it with a more complex (sweet) liquid and it was fine. Also, you forget to change all the coils, I mean we're talking about 12-15 days... Personally, my favorite is the 0.3

The best resistance I have ever tried.. I have tried almost all of them.. This specific one not only gives you a nice sensation between smoking and lung, but it also lasts for a looooong time.. Personally, I use it with 50/50 e-liquids and sometimes with higher PG, at 17 watts, and it easily lasts me a week of good vaping (meaning constant vaping throughout the day). It produces relatively warm vapor, very intense and accurate flavor, and good resolution. The 1.6Ω, although I haven't used it much, I would say it lacks a bit in flavor compared to the 0.8Ω, but it is still okay as a resistance. I don't trust the mesh resistances in the series because no matter how much I have used them, I never got the flavor I expected despite the hype they had from people. Finally, the 0.2Ω does indeed provide good flavor, but in three attempts, I couldn't keep the resistance for more than 3-4 days, so it is not my main choice.

Very good in terms of wattage speed with a throat hit, I operate it at 20w and it goes up to 25w, possibly the best resistance for smoking and semi-pneumatic use. The second day I use it will show, there is no need to reach the extreme resistance, and do not put more than 50-50 liquids, meaning not thick in glycerin (vg), it weakens and clogs the resistance, especially in cigarettes with small holes, it needs 50-50 liquids. The 1.6 Ohm is the classic cigarette resistance for the Zenith. It has relatively good flavor and lifespan (not like the Nautilus). The 0.8 resistance is also good and comes close to 75% in flavor to the Nautilus resistances. The 0.48 plex 3D resistances and the new 1.2 are a failure because they burn for no reason in 4-5 days
