It is by far the best medieval RPG that exists, excellent realism, well-crafted storyline and dialogues, exceptional sound design (just turn off the lights and play on a big screen), highly realistic and detailed graphics, especially the work done with lighting is incredible. The level of detail is proverbial, from how battles are fought to what you carry on yourself, what skills you learn, and how it affects your character. You have to pay attention even to what you eat and drink, there is realism even in the hours you sleep. The game is years ahead of its time and was created by a European company (Czech). I really wish something similar would come out in Greece.

I bought it for 6 or 7€ on sale from the Playstation Store. When I started playing it, I felt like crying, it seemed very difficult and I was ready to give up. Luckily, I read the comments of the players here - thank you all! - I persisted and I loved it! It's exactly as they say: it requires patience, perseverance, and it rewards you with its realism! So don't get discouraged, not even with the admittedly challenging lockpicking and combat system at the beginning, because if you dedicate time to it, it will become much easier and enjoyable, I must say!

I bought the game in the summer of 2019 for the price of 25 euros, I played it on a regular PS4, where do I even begin? The graphics? The gameplay? The medieval open world aspect? It excels in all of these and even introduces innovative gameplay mechanics in terms of player control. The way you dress also affects how you are treated in every city you visit. For the time it was released (2018), the game was already ahead of others and quite challenging, which might be why many people didn't pay much attention to it. It's a game that requires patience, but it rewards you accordingly. Now, because I played it on a regular PS4, I had a minor issue with the framerate, nothing serious, but usually when entering a province or city, the framerate would drop to around 25, and the same happened during battles with many people around. It's not something catastrophic overall. From my perspective, this game is a must-play, so give it a chance if you're a bit hesitant!

What can I say about this particular game, I wonder why it hasn't made a splash, while indifferent generic open world titles sell tens of millions of copies. Surely it lacks the polish of big studio titles, e.g. Rockstar, Ubisoft, BUT: The game has SOUL, a good story, a beautiful and historically accurate world, extremely RPG elements, realism, many interesting side quests. I'm at 110 hours, finished the main story and many side quests and started the DLCs. I love Henry, who I have evolved from a wimpy lazy son of a peasant into a badass knight ready to take on 4-5 opponents at the same time. If you enjoy good RPGs, here you are.... one of the top titles of the generation from a small studio.

One of the best RPGs on the market.
Kingdom Come embodies the gamer's dreams of becoming a knight. With endless choices, an amazing story, and an incredibly good price, it would be a shame for anyone to miss out on such a game.

Amazing historical game with RPG elements and a very good map. It is open world, meaning you can go wherever and whenever you want, leave the story behind and have fun. But the story is also interesting if you get involved. The combat system is very good and the battles are numerous and increasingly challenging.

I haven't finished it yet, so I can't have a full opinion. What is certain, though, is that the game is everything it promised. Huge (in terms of time, because I still don't know about the map), realistic open world RPG. It has elements from various games of the genre (the first ones that come to mind are Skyrim and Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen) with the significant note that it has no fantasy element at all.

I won't mention specific details as they are mentioned in various reviews (as I found them too), what I can say is that I see in the game what I expected.

It's not for everyone. It takes a lot of time and patience to even do the necessary things.

For €20 the royal edition, it's worth it for the time I will spend with it.
