For the price it is currently at (around €10), it's worth it completely, as we're talking about a game with plenty of gameplay hours. The graphics are definitely better than the previous ones with the same art style. The gameplay is nice, as it is a shooter with RPG elements (skill trees, builds, etc.). If you have played any Borderlands game before, it will feel familiar to you. If you haven't played any before, I recommend checking it out first before buying it, as it is a looter shooter and may not appeal to everyone. The only reason I give it 4 stars (if there was an option for 4.5, I would prefer that) is because the loading times on previous generation consoles are unbearable. We're talking about 5 minutes of loading when the game starts and around 2 minutes between areas. I don't think they will release any updates, but you never know. However, I have heard that it runs better on computers and next-generation consoles. Keep that in mind before getting it. Nonetheless, it remains a very good game!
If it had a similar and better story than 2, it would be 5/5. It's currently 4.5, but you can't put half a star. At the price it is now, all gamers are obliged to have it in their collection
For the money you can buy it, it's really a shame not to try it. Worthy sequel of the series, all the elements that make Borderlands are there and improved. If you like the series, you already have it in your collection! If you haven't played Borderlands before, you will love it! If you want more content, there is very good DLC that you often find on sale, but even if you don't want to spend extra, it has enough replayability. Tip: Look for the Doom shotgun in the game, perhaps the best weapon.
The game is not bad. It is a mediocre to good battle royale. Not big changes from its predecessors but it's worth the money. Mainly because it is unique, not necessarily good, but at least they tried to do something different from other br games and I respect that. Btw, perfect graphics style
At 8 euros, you get it with your eyes closed!! I had finished it on PC when it came out, but with such a price, I bought it to finish it again on PS5!! Free upgrade for PS5!!
Whoever is a fan of the series, we don't even discuss it, it's necessary. But even to an uninitiated audience, it is a wonderful entertaining game full of references and crazy missions to escape from the rotten everyday life. A very good title and especially at the price of 9 euros, an obvious purchase.
For 10€ that I bought it, it is excellent in everything except that the missions are somewhat repetitive, but otherwise it is amazing, in terms of graphics, art style, world, and gameplay. I definitely recommend it for anyone who just wants to shoot something
If you haven't played Borderlands before, watch gameplay on YouTube. The game focuses more on gameplay than the story. It is a first-person shooter RPG, but not a pure FPS, it is closer to RPG. Not everything dies with three bullets unless you have created a strong "build". The story lasts for 20-25 hours. You can choose between 4 characters, level them up as you play, and unlock powers. Each character can be played in many ways and differently from the others. You find weapons as you play, bosses drop them or you find them in various boxes, or you can simply buy them. Pistols, SMGs, assault rifles, RPGs, shotguns are available. (There is an easy mode to adjust more easily).
2. If you have played Borderlands before, the gameplay is excellent. There are many builds and the late game has many difficulty levels. Yes, the game is challenging, but if you want, you can make it excessively easy. There are more weapons, and the element of Borderlands 2 where each weapon has a specific manufacturer is not as prominent. Many bosses have specific legendaries, but since there are so many, most are random drops. However, legendaries drop more easily, and if you play on the highest difficulty, a boss can drop 4-5 legendaries. The story is mediocre to uninteresting. There is no Handsome Jack, so it's logical. The level cap is 50 and you reach it around 30-35 hours of gameplay. For those playing co-op: you no longer need to be the same level as your friend. The enemies scale individually. An enemy that you see at your level, your friend sees at their level.
3. General comments: Split screen is only available for two players. The game had many bugs when it was released, but the developers constantly release updates, and currently, the game is playable without any serious problems.
Gameplay, quite large if you want all the cups, play it best in performance mode on ps4 pro as it is a delight with 45-60 fps, the resolution mode if cleaner as an image you can't play pleasantly as it goes lower than 30 fps. It's worth it...
Wait for a significant price reduction or at least until they fix the issues that exist in the game because currently there is chaos. Frame drops in every movement (struggling to reach 30fps in PS4 Pro performance mode), input delays, bugs in many sidequests, menu freezes, glitches in mechanics like tokens (instead of earning tokens with each level, many times it takes you back) etc. Unacceptable situation, especially for a company like Take-Two.
Very good game, nice additions after 2, interesting new characters.. my only complaint is that on the regular PS4 it has few drops and hiccups, but not enough to ruin the overall experience! just those who have the PS4 pro it's even more worth the money, I hope the upcoming DLCs are worth it too!
