Update:
After many months of use, I have to say one thing: if it was as good as it should be based on the cost, the new ones that have solved the connectivity and application problems would not have been released. Unfortunately, it was a bad purchase. Read below to find out why.
I am an Apple enthusiast and owner of an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple TV, and Apple Watch. I exclusively use these headphones with Apple devices. I would expect everything to work flawlessly. Well, not always.
1) They are "magical" but not always:
In general, I can say that they work "magically". The automation is perfect... when it works. The device connects most of the time, but if you switch from one device to another, sometimes you have to manually search. When it works "magically", I appreciate the money I spent, but when it malfunctions, it makes me wonder if it's really Apple.
2) Battery indicator:
These headphones have a system where as soon as you open the case, the battery level of each headphone and the case is displayed on the mobile screen. It's magical... when it works, because usually it doesn't. 9 out of 10 times I open the case, nothing appears on my phone.
3) Very good sound but...
The sound for music or calls is excellent, powerful, detailed, etc. HOWEVER, many times it makes a noise like the old cordless landline phones used to make when you went out of range. It does this at irregular intervals, even if the phone it is connected to is right next to me.
4) Very poor fit in the ears (at least for me):
I can overlook any malfunctions because WHEN it works correctly, it's perfect. However, there is a problem that I did not expect. Everyone says that they fit very well in the ears and don't fall out. Apart from the reviews on Skroutz, many of my friends who bought them said the same. My experience tells me that whenever I wear them, I don't feel that secure. If you shake your head, walk, and definitely if you run, they don't stay in place for me. The same goes for when I chew (food or gum), and even worse when I wear them on the couch or in bed half-lying down. If I turn my head back, the weight distribution changes and they don't fit well in my ear. This was the last thing I expected to happen because I have a completely different experience as a long-time owner and user of Apple's wired earpods. Those fit perfectly. I stopped buying new pairs of wired earphones because Apple has greatly reduced their manufacturing specifications and many batches are defective (hence the price drop from €33 to €6).
5) Regretted buying the wireless charging case:
For this reason, I rushed to buy the wireless ones and to have one less cable in the middle. I regretted it in terms of the money I spent (€240) because I bought them almost as soon as they were released and chose the case with wireless charging, a feature I still haven't used. Generally, the battery takes a long time to drain, at least for the way I mainly use them at the office. The battery of the headphones, combined with the case, easily lasts a day.
Recommendation:
Now that the price has dropped and if it drops even further and approaches €100, I consider it a good purchase compared to what else is available on the market. For the 240€ that I paid, it was a complete disappointment.
In conclusion:
The issue of fit in the ear is subjective and varies from case to case. If you are thinking of getting them, prefer the case without wireless charging unless its price is approximately the same as the regular case. And in general, be prepared that they will not always work perfectly and always be "magical" (like all Apple devices in the end) but they will definitely be more reliable than the competition.
