Description

Man can be seen as a subject that acquires information, gives it meaning, placing it in a broader web of beliefs and acting based on it. The set of these beliefs is called personal meaning. His ability to act, and therefore his survival, is based on this.

Starting from this perspective, we call culture the common meaning that runs through a group of people and forms the basis on which personal meaning is built.

The purpose of this is to outline a culture of people that concerns the way they operate within the framework of projects, the culture of meaning management projects, or simply the culture of meaning projects (CMP).

Perhaps the most characteristic feature of CMP is the fact that within its framework people act simultaneously in two directions: (a) to produce action and (b) to guide as much as possible the evolution of common meaning and the way it affects their personal meaning. The latter is an important reason to deal with CMP, as it is a field that we usually overlook, focusing on action in the present.

Finally, along with the development of the description of CMP, concepts related to it are also developed and presented, aiming at a better understanding of its functions.
