The PAOK of the '70s refers to the era of the team's "rebirth", the era when PAOK showcased its strength. In the 1970s, the popular club won its first official trophy, the Greek Cup in 1972, the second Cup in 1974, and its first Greek Championship in 1976. The PAOK team of that "magical" era, with its dominant figure being captain Giorgos Koudas, supported by valuable teammates and under the guidance of unforgettable coaches Les Shannon and Gyula Lorant, captivated Greek fans with its performances on the field. At the same time, it was a team of high sportsmanship.

In this album, texts and images capture the events in an emotional way. Koulis Apostolidis, former international football player of PAOK, took charge of the editing. Michalis Pappous, the important professional photographer and photojournalist of Thessaloniki, was present with his camera on the fields, capturing the moments and documenting the entire "golden" era of the PAOK football team. These invaluable documents narrate the events, while all the protagonists of the team accompany them on the pages of the book.
