The SZ-R VAS Diamond by Arai is a jet helmet, which, thanks to its open design at the bottom of the face, can be put on and taken off with ease. It is considered one of the lightest types of helmets, however, it leaves a large area of the face uncovered, therefore it is less safe compared to a full-face helmet. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a double d ring, also known as a ring. It is the safest and most reliable fastening, but it requires both hands to tie.

    I have been riding motorcycles for 30 years, only with Arai helmets.
    Quality? Feel? Fit?
    Anyone who hasn't worn an Arai can't understand.
    When you wear them, their weight disappears as if by magic.
    So perfectly balanced.
    You have to experience it to understand.
    Yes, they are expensive.
    But if you think about it, they're not really...
    What I mean is:
    A helmet of this quality, we keep it easily for 7-8 years. Maybe even 10.
    Do we have €5/month for the safety of our lives?
    Who would say no... no one.
    So a helmet like this, in 8-9 years, has paid for itself...
    This is the 4th consecutive JET SZ-R VAS helmet that I'm changing, only because of the color change.
    I use it for frequent national trips.
    I use it in winter and summer!
    I won't change it.
    It's the only Jet helmet that meets the safety specifications of equivalent Full face helmets.
    Yes, it's expensive.
    But when we wear it, we immediately feel that it (like all Arai helmets) has no comparison to the others.
    When we go on a long ride?
    That's when we'll realize that our money was well spent.
    So, the top JET helmet on the market is the only way to go.
    There are no "discounts" in this matter.
    Even save money on other things.
