My old bulbs were Philips extreme vision but they had passed their prime. I installed these with the intention of not blinding the oncoming traffic and also having a good beam cut-off without the light beam going beyond the limits. The result exceeded my expectations, strong light and nice beam cut-off. The bulb needs to be installed like the factory one otherwise you will have an issue. The only negative is that because it is H4, there is a membrane at the back of the headlight to protect it from dust, but the bulb doesn't fit in it due to its cooling system, so it needs to be modified to allow proper ventilation, resulting in gaps for dust to enter the headlight. Only time will tell.
Easy installation. In the afternoon, before I repositioned every light in its place, I tested them and realized that they shine very brightly. It got dark and I decided to try again. And it became night to day.
The Ford Fusion, a car that if I had to find any weak points, one - and maybe the first one - was the poor lighting. Poor design of the headlights, I was never satisfied with their lighting. After purchasing, I installed some Philips bulbs for something better, but after a while, I judged that they were also inadequate. Then, 200 euros for xenon and they were somewhat better, so I stopped looking beyond this change, although I wouldn't say I was completely satisfied. It was just something even better. I accepted that it was poor mirror design. At some point, after years, the booster burned out and I installed some LEDs. They didn't satisfy me either, so I replaced them with halogen bulbs that I found on the internet, which promised a lot. Good lighting and I stayed there. Until one bulb burned out, I replaced it with a Philips one that promised +30% brightness and decided to do some research. I read the reviews for these specific bulbs and ordered them. I couldn't wait to install them, and when it got dark and I turned on the lights, all I felt was that I had never had such lighting. Crystal clear white light and brightness. Nice diffusion without the shadows I had in the past, but also without negating that the headlights are poorly designed. One of those cases where you fully appreciate the money you spent and that I would never look for something better by paying more.
Buy with your eyes closed!
I put them in a 2013 seat mii.
No need to cut any membrane.
There are videos on YouTube.
The first step is to remove the stabilizing ring from the bulb by turning it slightly counterclockwise. Then you place the ring where the previous bulb was, secure it with the headlight clamp, and then attach the bulb along with the headlight's rubber using the ring by turning it slightly clockwise.
If it takes you more than 15 minutes for both bulbs, you are doing something wrong
I don't know how long they will last over time. I easily installed them on a 2003 atos. Simply plug the connector into the socket. The car lights can be adjusted downwards. I installed them all the way down otherwise they bother drivers. Even so, the light is sufficient
Application on a 2007 Honda Jazz, the light works and shines properly with different settings as it should. I recommend it, it is a very good application considering the price-performance ratio. As for the durability, only time will tell.
AMAZING BULBS!!! They were installed on a 2006 V Strom 650, replacing the old halogen ones. They were installed in 15 minutes without tools or problems. Watch a video on YouTube for light replacement and you will immediately understand what to do. Hopefully, they will last over time, but if they break, I would definitely buy them again. Crystal clear light and sturdy construction. The turn signal works normally and instantly. The fans it has to cool the bulbs are not audible at all. They are worth their money.
Very good!
They were installed easily in XTX 1.5 years ago
Their performance has not dropped (and the lights are permanently on), immediate response to change on a large scale, and there is also one for reserve when the bulb needs to be changed, (so for the engine it costs a little more than 15€ per bulb)
Do not look any further for bulbs... I put them in a Toyota Starlet ep91 and I have never seen such quality and light again. The best, good lighting very strong, good long range, very easy installation just with two negatives:
1: Because the car is old, it reads them as burned out and the high beam light on the counter does not turn on but there are H4 cancelers and it is fixed... 2 they burn the fans too much and do not do the best job. In short, the best purchase, get them with your eyes closed!!
They were installed H4 type in Xtrail T31, their beam unlike previous LED I have used is crystal clear and sharp as in factory halogen. Their power is top-notch in driving and very good in projection. I will also install them in the rest of the family vehicles.
Today they were installed in a Nissan Micra 05 model and the difference compared to the old halogen ones is chaotic. They fit exactly as described by others in the comments below without needing to cut the rubber protection of the lamp-headlight. Abundant light, immediate switching from low to high beam, and overall a very good purchase. I cannot say if they will withstand the test of time obviously. Overall, a very good choice!
They were purchased to replace the Osram night breaker plus that burned out in less than 6 months. They were installed in a Fiat Panda 169 without any modifications to the headlight. They emit white light and do not bother oncoming drivers.
, it is the best I have seen in lights for motorcycles and cars...... I bought them first for my sym vf185 and I was amazed, so I bought them again for my 2002 Mitsubishi Carisma... I highly recommend them, I bought them for 32€
I have had them for 5 months on a 2006 Suzuki Swift. I have lowered the lights 2 levels so they don't bother. They are much better than the regular ones. There is a big difference on roads without lighting. The signal is immediate. They cannot be compared to Xenon (Xenon had better light diffusion). Three stars because their base is plastic (the regular ones have a metal base) and I don't know how durable it will be.
The comments and ratings convinced me, so I bought them for a 1998 BMW F650st and I was very satisfied! They are powerful with a nice cool color (like all modern lighting bodies) and very easy to install! The instructions explain everything needed for a quick and easy replacement! No comparison to the previous incandescent bulbs!
With dull headlights due to age and they illuminate amazingly, I will come back as soon as I polish the headlights with a set specifically for plastic restoration.
Now I will also get for my motorcycle.
I bought it for my scooter which has one front light. It is very powerful and, as far as I have understood, it does not bother other drivers. It is a good purchase
Purchased from electronica E-Shop (with 2-year warranty) and installed in almera n15/1999.
Strong light, intense beam, and "cut-off" so as not to bother passing vehicles/drivers (VERY IMPORTANT).
With a NORMAL large range of lights!
No need to cut the lamp's sealing membrane in this car.
The installation was done as follows:
1) Installation (FIRST) of the black plastic base (of the new lamp) "locking" it with the help of the metal clip.
2) Installation of the black membrane.
3) Installation of the lamp so that it "locks" into the guide inside its plastic base. In other words, you insert the lamp and turn it until it tightens. ATTENTION: on the lamp's fan, there is a red sticker with the indication "UP" so that when the lamp is installed, the sticker is ON THE UPPER SIDE! This way, we will have the correct small and large range!
4) Do not forget to also install (at the end) the rotating "ring" that goes above the membrane and secures it.
5) Secure the length of the lamp's cable well with cable ties on the chassis (where we consider it the best position) so that they do not move and create any friction!
These are comments regarding the use of the bulb set FOR THIS SPECIFIC VEHICLE.
I hope I helped.
PS: Let's not forget that almera n15 owners, the Japanese made us "smart" with the glass headlight that DOES NOT fog up no matter how many years pass, so the light of the bulbs is a diamond behind the glass!
Have a great holiday season!
Good evening everyone... Today these specific LED bulbs were installed... I trusted the many positive reviews and finally bought them - I easily installed them in less than ten minutes... I am attaching a photo so you can see how they shine, I should note that the test was done on a completely dark road where you can't see with the naked eye even at 2 meters.
I bought it for my Prius 2006 and I saw the light...no comparison to halogen, of course. The installation wasn't as difficult as I expected and they fit perfectly. The protective cover of the light goes on without any modification. The order in which I installed them was: first, I put on the black base with the tabs and secured it with the light's safety latch. Then, I put on the cover and the round hole embraced the bulb's socket. After that, I installed the bulb and connected it to the socket, plugged it in, and it was ready. I would definitely buy them again. I can't say anything about their durability yet, but I will update when they burn out to let you know how long they lasted.
They fit in a 96-97 Nissan Primera P10. Very easy installation without any modifications or cutting, as I read in the comments. Even though I had no experience, I managed to install them in almost 15 minutes. It took me more time to figure out how to remove the previous ones than to put these on. Definitely, a video I watched on YouTube helped me with the installation.
As for durability, I don't know yet because I've only had them for 3 days, but they are very bright lights and convenient in terms of color, pure white.
I will definitely buy them again, even if they burn out over time
I installed them on a seat ibiza 6l 1.2 2005. Very easy installation, there was enough space inside the light cover for the fan and the cable, I have a reservation because the light cover has hard plastic and does not ventilate and I do not know to what extent it will not increase the temperature with use (I took the risk knowing it). But as for the lighting.... it's amazing! Even though both of my lights are foggy, they still have very good illumination. The first time I enjoyed driving at night on a dark road! I will come back with a more detailed evaluation over time.
Very easy to install, they fit on a Mitsubishi Spacestar 2015 even though the elastic foam protection around each light had to be slightly trimmed. Beautiful light, comfortable driving at night without bothering the opposite driver at all. I have had them for 16 months and no issues. I recommend them and would buy them again.
