Beverly 350cc Sport Touring. I installed these specific LEDs in October 2020 and now in September 2024, one of the middle beams is starting to flicker. This is the one that stays on continuously, it lasted around 30,000 kilometers! I am completely satisfied with the brightness, color, and longevity of the bulb. The high beam has been working flawlessly since then (of course, with minimal use). I have already ordered another pair to replace it! Also, installation on my Beverly was easy, just knowing the basics will help you manage it easily.
Installation in Opel Astra H '08
Without adapters & Canbus don't try, it won't fit. If you're handy, modification with a dremel disc can be done on the adapter that has the halogen (it is removed from the plug).
Although you have quick access on the right and left above the wheels, removing the headlights (grille, bumper) will give you better access for installation!!
Functionality, the car developed AI and gained its own personality, they blink alternately, a sign that the error canceller (canbus) is necessary!!
Brightness, split personality in daytime running lights shine as if they are high beams! I haven't noticed it being bothersome yet!! Quite distinct and bright colors during night driving!
**Definitely, however, to use canbus (I installed the canbus for H7 from Phillips)**
In the first stage, I give 5 stars regarding the intensity, the color, and the fact that they don't blind. I should point out that I have no experience with LED bulbs to compare. Now, compared to before, I can simply see without stressing! In a 2013 Ford Fiesta, when it's idling, I experience a slight momentary flicker every 2 seconds. I don't think the bulbs are to blame because as soon as I rev the engine, it never happens. I should mention that no adapters were needed to fit (for me), but you will definitely need 2 larger plastic caps because they are big (otherwise, they will collect dust because they have a small fan). They have been tested for 1 day, and no one has flashed their lights at me. I will update in the future regarding durability, intensity, etc. Also, there was no need to adjust the headlights (projector type); the light came exactly where it was with the previous halogen bulbs.
Good bulbs for their price with a nice line without bothering the opposite, passed with the Philips LED Adapter Canbus H7 in skoda octavia 5 rs 2008 and I have no problem!
Easy installation makes night day, now I'm waiting to see if they withstand time.
Light intensity is good (barely blinds oncoming drivers), of course this is also due to the proper adjustment of the mirror of the headlight. For me, the night became day. No comparison to the factory halogens. The color is white and matches the daylights.
As for the installation on a Skoda Citigo, it was a bit of a challenge and I had to buy additional adapters.
Overall, I am completely satisfied and only time will tell about their durability.
Use in Giulietta. Installation was a bit difficult, I had to remove the headlights. The clamp that holds the bulb went in forcefully into one of the two hooks, but it seems sufficient. They fit inside the headlight without modifications. They make the night look like day without exaggeration.
In Skoda Rapid they fit relatively easily, their performance on the first day (night) was amazing 99% compared to the large scale, as the days passed their performance dropped but they are still stronger than halogen. The radiator is large for the Rapid so I had to make a modification with the caps to fit. A few days they make a noise with their fans for 20 seconds when turned on. I will probably go for similar ones without fans which are also smaller.
I installed them on a Renault Clio iv a few days ago, initially the lighting and visibility were greatly improved. The installation, I can say, gave me quite a hard time but this is probably due to how the French have designed that spot. They fit snugly without needing to cut anything. As for durability, I don't have an opinion yet obviously, and in these few days no one has signaled to me that they are bothered, although I have completely lowered the lights downwards.
In the Beverly 300, it turns night into day and I am very satisfied. The lid snapped on perfectly, just on the big staircase it is a bit tight, as if it touches and the air doesn't escape well, which might make it a bit humid, but it will go away, it's not a big deal
I bought them because of the good reviews.
However, in the Audi A4 B6, they do not have the brightness I expected.
The installation was easy!
I had xenon bulbs in my smart 451 and it was time to change them because their performance had decreased over the years. I bought these specific bulbs and I can say that they are much better in terms of lighting and have a very nice color.
I installed them on a Kawasaki Versys '09. The installation was relatively easy, although I had to remove the tire cover from the back. I don't know if the absence of the tire cover affects their resistance to moisture/water
I installed them on a scooter (2012 Yamaha X-Max 250), one bulb went in easily, the second one needed a trick to install the silicone ring with hot glue, tremendous difference compared to the regular halogen bulbs I had before.
I installed it today on a Peugeot 308 (2019), it gave me a little trouble and I ended up removing the headlight to install the bulbs. Satisfactory light and nice color
They are very good, having mainly tried cheap Xenon kits, I saw a huge difference with these. The difference in intensity is immediately noticeable, the only thing that was needed was to adjust the headlights for the correct beam, maybe because I had already tampered with them before. They were installed on a Seat Ibiza 2001, I drilled the caps to fit the fans. Buy them without fear, they are amazing for their price.
Very powerful beam of light. I struggled a bit with the installation, but the result satisfied me! Citroen c4 2008 coupe. (No need for an extra adapter)
On the left is the LED and on the right is the halogen.
I have installed it on a smart 451, no need for any other adapter, etc., it fits directly.
For the Fiesta mk8, they fit but you need a different LED adapter and a waterproof seal bubble for 75 euros.
Very good for their price!
In Peugeot 207, the lid does not close
In punto mk2 model 2000, they fit without the caps, especially the left one has very little room, even if it is drilled with a glass drill it will be very difficult to put it back in. In kawasaki versys 650 mk1, they fit perfectly and with a cross on the flange they lock extremely well. The beam on the versys does not bother and illuminates much better than any halogen and if I had in the past, nightbreaker diamond pia, etc. that I happened to try over the years. For durability, I will come back if we have any surprises
To fit in a Hyundai i30, it needs a ring for the base and another cap with more space... As for brightness, they are amazing for the money... No comparison even with more expensive well-known brand halogens... perfect white light and nice beam with the projectors... I will get another set for the high beam. 1+ year later, I have bought 3 sets of bulbs, none have burned out... Very good light, I didn't believe it, and durability from what they show!!!
Opel Astra H, one light turned on (the other one turned off after 1 minute) until I bought can bus H7 Philips and they work
Excellent bulbs with a lot of light since I installed them. I rarely use them on a large scale. And they have great durability over time
In Polo tdi 2014, it is a bit big and the clip is not correct. With a little modification, I installed covers for dust, but they don't fit properly (otherwise the fan won't breathe). Over time, we will see if they can handle it
I installed the bulbs on a polo 9n without much difficulty, the headlights have enough space for the heat sink and the covers close properly. Nice white color and very strong light, but the beam has an issue and blinds other drivers even though I have lowered it as much as possible from the adjustment on the headlight. In the end, I had to remove them.
Incredible light, intensity, color, and durability. Installed on a C3 2017. On a night ride, they make the night feel like day! Set on level "3" or "4" because they bother higher up (never on positions "0", "1", and "2" within the city - we blind the opposite driver). Their installation is relatively easy, but the little caps behind the bulbs cannot be put back. However, you won't have any problem, don't worry about it, it's a minor issue.
For their price, they are very good.
They were installed on a Peugeot 206 GT. Those who own this particular car know that changing the bulb is not an easy process. They fit directly into the sockets of the headlight. Very bright light, if you install them without any adjustment, they can be annoying for other drivers, you will need to consult an electrician to adjust the beam. Overall, I am satisfied with their performance, but I will come back later to assess their durability over time
