The Teacher Petar Denov was born on July 11, 1864 in the village of Nikolaevo, in the region of Varna. He studied theology and medicine in Boston, USA. He returned to Bulgaria in 1895, where he spent five years in deep contemplation, prayer, and meditation, until he received the Initiation.

The Teaching was entirely oral, but his students took shorthand notes of his lectures and discussions. So far, over 4,000 lectures of the Teacher have been published, but several thousand remain unpublished. Translations of his works circulate in Russian, French, German, English, Spanish, Italian, Esperanto, etc.

This book, the first to be published in the Greek language, is a compilation of the Teacher's Thoughts, a brief introduction to his work.
