This book hopes to fill a significant gap in Greek-language sources for Geographic Information Systems and their application in Spatial Analysis and Design.
The book consists of 3 parts. Each of the three parts, as well as the entire book, aim to cover specific needs, such as:
The first part will help those who are part of the decision-making process to understand the capabilities and basic elements of GIS without having to delve into technical operations.
The second part will help those who want to become users of GIS (Students, Researchers, etc.) to fully understand this tool, as it deals in detail with all the necessary steps for its proper application.
The third part will help those who are one-dimensional users of GIS, meaning they can comfortably compose complex digital products without having a documented knowledge of the spatial analysis required for their creation. This is provided, in a spherical, albeit limited way, by the last part of the book.
Finally, we consider the book as a whole to be an essential complement to the library of all those who manage, analyze, or design using spatial data.
