Television is a "member" of every family. It "informs", entertains, guides, advises, and offers opinions. The computer "dominates" along with the mobile phone all the functional and communication needs of humans. The electronic screen replaces the book, paper, and pencil. It demolishes the written word from its dominant position. It disrupts and leads to the disappearance of printed information, while increasingly limiting live communication, whose main characteristic is the warmth of contact.
From the time when the "pen" directed the fortunes of the world, to today when the screen dominates; from the time when anyone who wanted to consume human flesh was considered a cannibal, while today they find a site to order it on the internet; from the time when news was anything that interested and benefited the citizen, to today when news is considered anything that entertains and puts them to sleep; from the time when the world had two poles, to today when it has one, everything has changed in life and its quality, culture, habits, human needs, and searches. And the world wonders: Will the screens we possess become the means of control of our lives by Big Brother, who with our tolerance already limits our freedoms and rights? Will life be hell in the future or an electronic paradise?
