VONYX STM500BT DJ Mixer 2 channels very small and lightweight with MP3 playback capability via USB and Bluetooth.
It is suitable for simple applications. It features a 2-band equalizer (treble, bass), Crossfader function, microphone input, and headphone output with 6.3mm jack plugs.
With the built-in Bluetooth receiver, you can wirelessly connect any Bluetooth-enabled device and listen to the songs you have on it through the mixer.
MP3 song management is done via 4 buttons and the corresponding screen. The mixer has a Master Out output (2xRCA) and 2x line inputs (4x RCA). It operates with an external power supply 220V AC / 12V DC - 500mA which is included.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
This mixer is something else, despite its small size which makes it not take up space, it deceives most of the time but really the quality it produces, especially for its price, is indescribable. It is a quite sturdy and high-quality construction. Now, in terms of quality, it left me speechless as the main mixer I had burned out and I replaced it "temporarily" which I see becoming permanent.
Very good with good settings and excellent Bluetooth and USB, very nice for its price!!!
I use it to have a laptop (via BT) and a desktop on the same headphones and it works fine. The only small issue is that the BT is an old technology and it doesn't have secure pairing, so anyone can connect without a PIN (once a neighbor accidentally connected and I heard one of their calls).
The difference from a similar product in the same price range is that it is slightly thinner and the headphone port plays stereo properly from the master source. (The other product plays the left channel in the left ear and the right channel in the right ear, which is better if you want to mix as neither of the two has buttons to select a specific channel to output to the monitor).
Overall good value.
The only problem I noticed is some interruptions that occur when playing songs from the USB port!
5 stars for its price (around 35-40 euros). If I had given more money, I would have given it 4 stars or something else.
A decent mixer for its price. Lightweight, good feel of the buttons, switches, and knobs.
2 inputs and 1 output. The inputs/output use RCA cables (white-red).
I have connected: laptop & turntable (from those new ones that look like suitcases and have built-in speakers). My initial intention was to connect my "good" turntable, which is an old generation Technics with grounding cable, but unfortunately the sound performance was not satisfactory at all. I don't know the reason, but it's probably due to its old RCA cables, which come from the turntable, so I couldn't do anything about it. With the suitcase-turntable, the sound is better, although it could have a bit more bass. Maybe what I need to achieve "crystal clear" sound is new RCA cables. These turntables have RCA as their source at the back or a simple jack somewhere near their "dashboard". I didn't get good sound with the simple cable. With the RCA, yes!
Also, I have done the following: the mixer has a microphone input. The input takes thick Jack. You can connect another device (TV or CD player or even a mobile phone) to it, so you can have 3 things simultaneously. The volume of the last one is adjusted by the microphone volume.
I have sent all these through the output to an amplifier with RCA on both ends. For the use I make (music from turntable and sound from laptop simultaneously), I am very satisfied. It has bass and treble settings. Nothing else.
Another advantage is that it can be connected via Bluetooth. You press a button and it pairs with a Bluetooth device and sends sound from there. Especially if the music on your device is in a folder, the mixer has buttons that find the next track. However, when you press the Bluetooth button, the left channel mutes.
And a USB port, something I haven't tried yet.
If you want to use it like this, I recommend it. If you want to do a DJ set and have requirements, I don't know if it will help you.
