Through the implementation of the teaching material included in this book, teachers and students become familiar with all the possibilities of New Technologies (computing and internet). Particularly, students become familiar in a natural way, perfectly adapted to their lives and all their activities. In this way, they are prepared smoothly and functionally for the technological society of information and communication, in which they will live and in the demands of which they will have to successfully cope with.
This book consists of four parts. The first part includes an extensive introduction to the substantial contribution of New Technologies to the implementation of new teaching and pedagogical methods. The second part includes various interdisciplinary teaching scenarios that exploit all the possibilities of New Technologies (computing and internet).
The third part contains a detailed example that guides interested parties (teachers and students) on how to create original interdisciplinary lessons with software prospects and a combination of activities, utilizing all the possibilities of New Technologies (computing and internet).
The fourth part presents two teaching proposals in the English language. Throughout the teaching material, the following are included: research through the Internet, communication through the school network or email, use of basic IT tools and specialized software for completing tasks.
