Using a 1-inch aluminum tweeter with exclusive Tractrix horn technology, the R-51M bookshelf speaker delivers incredible performance, capable of filling your space with powerful, crystal-clear sound and robust bass that no one expects from a bookshelf speaker.
The Klipsch R-51M speakers are suitable for use in various spaces with some usage ideas such as:
TV sound: You can connect the speakers to a TV for better sound quality when watching movies, series, or sports events.
Computer audio system: You can connect the speakers to your computer for better sound quality while working at the office or listening to music from videogames.
Living room sound: Use the speakers as part of a sound system in your living room.
Tractrix Technology
Klipsch's exclusive Tractrix 90x90 horn technology ensures that the high-frequency energy of the R-51M is aimed at the listener and reduces artificial reverb or filtering caused by indirect sound reflection from the walls.
The use of this focused technology gives you the best possible clarity, dynamics, and detail from your movies and music.
Linear Travel Suspension Tweeter
The Klipsch Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) aluminum tweeter minimizes distortion for improved, detailed performances. The use of Kapton, an extremely light and rigid material, in the tweeter suspension provides high efficiency and enhances resolution and detail.
Woofer made of IMG spun copper
The Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) woofer cones are exceptionally light and rigid - providing remarkable low-frequency response, with minimal cone breakup and distortion.
High-quality design
The reinforced MDF construction reduces cabinet vibrations for less acoustic coloration and improved sound accuracy - offering you the ultimate listening experience that is built to last.

They remind me of the Wharfedale Diamond 7.2 that I have but with more "edge". I drive them with an old LUXMAN LV-110 and honestly they have a lot to offer. The best purchase I have made in recent years, although they lack a "sweetness" that other speakers have.
Five stars and if I could, I would give another five!!!! The speakers are very good and AMAZING in many ways!!!!
Let me start with the construction materials. Very solid and of very good quality speakers, materials, they are very beautiful and medium-sized I would say. I bought them for use as surround speakers since the rest of my speakers in my sound system are KLIPSCH. So, the 51m have incredible sound both in music and in movies-effects. As I broke them in by playing them every day until they reached the ideally required 100 hours of breaking in, I heard hi-fi sound that you hear in similar speakers of double and triple the price!!!! Full and clean bass, midrange and treble that reproduce every sound, note, musical instrument, and detail that has been recorded in the studio, and overall volume that comfortably fills a medium-sized space!!!! In movies, the effects sound powerful and loud!!! In music, however, I couldn't get enough of them, with a good amplifier and a proper CD player, you can easily create a very good hi-fi system.
Although the role of the speakers, as I mentioned before, is for home cinema and surround position, there are moments when I feel like they "disappear" behind as they are INCREDIBLE in music!!!!
However, now in movies, I really enjoy them as they properly and loudly fill the back part of my home theater.
The money required to purchase these very good speakers is very little.....
Coming from Dali Oberon 1, I can say that these speakers are in a league of their own when it comes to metal and jazz blues music! The only thing I changed in my 2-channel setup was the speakers, so there's a clear comparison to the Danish manufacturer from day two of playing only three hours. What I noticed is that Klipsch is faster in transitions than Oberon in abrupt changes in such songs. There's a sense of better control, and you feel like you're hearing the instruments and vocals live next to you, which also applies to the Danish manufacturer, mainly in vocals. Finally, the sound of Klipsch has a bit of grit, but at the same time, it's warm, which I found positive. Dali has a more rounded, milder sound, I would say. Finally, with Klipsch, you get a wider soundstage and a bigger body, plus they look much better in person than in internet photos. It's a one-way street with everything I mentioned, considering their price, they play much more!!!
Exceptional speakers, especially for their price! Despite their size, they play very nicely and lively in a moderate space and at normal volumes. You can enjoy music with wind, string and percussion instruments. The vocals are lively and clear. They are easy to drive and easy to place. Nice stereo image. If you listen to Trap and other similar genres that only emphasize low frequencies and bass, they are not for you. If you want to enjoy music at normal volumes, get them with closed eyes and ears!
Excellent quality and sound. It's difficult to describe the difference compared to other products of the same price range unless someone hears them. I've been using them for eight months and I'm not an expert on sound.
"5 stars are not enough. Anyone who hasn't listened to music through Klipsch speakers is missing out on a life experience. For this price, I don't think there's anything that even comes close to their quality and sound. Paired with a Pioneer amplifier and a Yamaha DAC, the result is far superior to expectations."
I waited for a year to evaluate them so I could have an overall picture. Initially, the construction is very high quality and if the speakers are properly positioned, they play incredibly. Rich sound, full of quality bass, and a sufficiently loud sound that won't disappoint in volume, obviously as long as they are used in a home setting. Clearly, as with all speakers, their amplifier plays a role, so make sure to pair them with a decent amplifier and they will work wonders.
In conclusion, for a pair at 219 euros or even significantly more money, they are the best value for money with eyes closed. You won't regret buying them, all you have to do is set them up properly and they will play incredibly.
They have speed, energy, fantastic highs, and an "open" sound. They paired very nicely with a Cambridge Audio amplifier in combination with a sub for extra bass. For their price, I think they play incredibly. They easily replaced floor-standing speakers three times their price!
The speakers are very good, perhaps the best in their category. I have them set up as surround sound behind the couch and they are amazing. They have incredible mid-range and the highs are equally as good. They are a very sturdy speaker and very easy on the ears. You can listen to music all day without getting tired. They also have plenty of volume and produce very loud sound. Lastly, they are beautiful!
The speakers are very good, with amazing midrange and beautiful highs. They play tremendously as main speakers, as they were designed and tested, and now I am very satisfied using them for surround sound. The build quality is very good, with magnetic grilles, and they look beautiful!
