Special illustrated edition enriched with more than 150 pages of rare material.
Ben Mears, a successful writer, returns to Salem's Lot to write a novel based on the years he lived there as a child, in an effort to exorcise the fears that have haunted him since his childhood. He witnessed an event at the old house on the hill, where now lives a man who causes him an inexplicable unease. At the same time, strange events are happening in the town - a child disappears, a dog is brutally killed - and the list keeps growing... Soon, unease will be replaced by terror...
The iconic horror novel in a unique edition with rare material:
- introduction by Stephen King
- photographs by Jerry Uelsmann
- cut scenes from the original edition
- and two short stories that serve as a prequel and sequel to Salem's Lot.

Beloved Salem's Lot, thoughts extracted from the deepest childhood fears of us all that still haunt us, truly what the man wrote, perhaps the book with which he certified that he is the king of horror
The book is a big disappointment. In order to write 760 pages, the author often deviates from the subject, resulting in moments where you are absorbed in the reading and suddenly become disappointed. Additionally, there are many pages dedicated to describing scenes that were supposed to be included but were changed. If the book was 350 pages and stayed focused on the subject, it would have been great. It is incredibly exhausting. I finished it with great effort and finally I can go back to watching Netflix.
God!!!!
God of all those who love to read dark novels, where terror slowly and invisibly invades, it engulfs you completely and has nothing to do with anything you understand, yet it is as familiar as those things hidden inside you, waiting for darkness to emerge.
King's writing is characteristic, he builds characters with the same ease with which he abolishes them, sets up a gloomy scene and keeps you tightly within it, until the last page.
Guys, Salem's Lot is unique!!!!
I never believed before that a book could scare you until I read Salem's Lot. I loved every page of it.
Dark, terrifying, a plunge into everyone's subconscious, and not only, fears. One of King's most beautiful books, it is read with the lights on.
From the first moment I started reading it, I didn't want to put it down. You left me with amazing impressions for my first book by Stephen King. Vivid images and scenes that, while reading them, make you feel like you are there in that moment at that place!
Atmospheric, it immerses you in its plot. I would characterize it as a classic horror book. I believe it should be present in every reader's library who is a fan of this genre.
It was the first book I read by Stephen King. The book is truly terrifying. In the beginning, he describes the town and the people in the town in detail so that you know them better, and then the ultimate terror unfolds :)
Papapa... Even the second time I read it, I was horrified. What did the person write!

One of King's best, the novel was nominated for the World Fantasy Award in 1976
It is an excellent book that is very easy to read despite its length.
