The battery curse continues in 2023...
It would be better if it cost +5€ and included a transformer with a micro-USB cable or at least a pair of rechargeable batteries. In the case of Belogia, it didn't even have a pair of regular disposable batteries, which is why I give it 4 ⭐.
I had to steal batteries from another device in my house to temporarily use it. The whole set up cost me: 15€ for the scale + 15€ for rechargeable batteries + charger = 30€, and that's why I deduct one star.
Update 2/5/2023 (1 week of use): Also, as a negative, I have to add that sometimes it goes crazy and shows random numbers. I open it, place the cup to zero it out and not count the weight of the cup, then press the "TARE" button. At that point, when it has zeroed out and shows 00.00, within fractions of a second, it changes and displays invalid numbers from 1g to 10g! Without changing anything and with the cup on it, I press "TARE" again. Again... it zeros out and immediately changes the value to something slightly higher than 00.00. This will happen 5-6 times until I close it and reopen it - after it has slightly irritated me. It doesn't happen every time, but it will definitely happen 1 out of 3 times. That's why I deduct another ⭐.
Other than that, it is accurate for measuring 18-20g of espresso, which I have been using for 2 days. I will update in 1 and 2 years of daily use to provide any new information I have.
Update 26/7/2023 (3 months of use): The problem I described in the previous update continues to happen more frequently. The scale literally goes haywire, as you can see in the video, and weighs whatever it wants as soon as you press "tare". 2 ⭐ due to the inconvenience, as you can see in the video below, solely for its quality construction and low price.
Update 23/8/2023 (4 months of use): Since the problem continues, I will return it and buy a better one from a different company. I also deduct the last of the 5 stars due to the daily inconvenience, as I now use it for weighing my meals and protein supplements (total use 4-5 times/day).
The only thing I have to suggest is to look for something more reliable, even if it costs twice as much as this particular scale. I will keep it until one day I throw it out the window and find a truly professional and accurate scale.
