5/5 what can I say about this gem!!!
Incredible lens!!!! This 1.8 is just amazing!!! We are also expecting the 35 f1.2, but it will have incredible weight.
This particular lens is a must for events, portrait events, and anything else you want for photography!!!
The lens is excellent in terms of image quality, almost as good as the Z 50mm f1.8. Perfect colors and sharpness, very good representation of out-of-focus objects. It also has a unique character that I like. As for focusing, it could be better, but satisfactory speed. It is also quite bulky, but of very good build quality. If it cost around 700 euros, it would be perfect. For 950 euros, it is expensive. Compared to the equivalent Sony, the Sony is smaller, lighter, and focuses much faster. However, the image quality of the Nikon is clearly superior. In conclusion, wait for a Cashback offer and get it.
I had reservations about whether I should spend so much money on a 35mm fixed lens. Eventually, I needed it for a project and bought it somewhat hastily, I would say... I can say that it is the best hasty purchase I have ever made! It shaves from 1.8! In 90% of cases, I work with it at 1.8. The colors are fantastic and the bokeh is exceptional. And yes, having a blurred background on a wide-angle lens is very nice and creative. Together with an 85mm lens attached to the second camera, you make an awesome pair. Not to mention that I initially got it for videos, where it performs amazingly. With 1.8, we were shooting in pitch-black darkness with the z6 and the image was truly incredible.
