Professional steam iron for long-lasting straightening, even on curly, frizzy, or dry and unruly hair. The technology used by the iron leverages the beneficial properties of steam to maintain hair moisture and combat volume and frizz with just one pass.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
My hair is thin, so it straightens quite quickly but loses its shape just as quickly. This straightener is the best solution I have found so far for the problem of straightening durability. I believe it is worth the money for those who have thin hair.
My hair is straight, but I like it to be curly. This doesn't even do that! It also dries out my hair, and in the morning it's more tangled than usual. I've been doing private hair styling for years and none of them have damaged my hair as much as this one. Steam? More like droplets! Tragic! I regret spending my money on it! I should have bought the Izzy again without steam, which is unbeatable. I decided to get a steam one to avoid damaging my hair, but I regret being cheap and buying the Steam Pod. Money wasted. I will definitely buy another one. Cheapness ruins everything...
Excellent for straightening and curling!!! I had it for 8 years and bought the same one again!! Flawless result with the right gold.
It's not bad, it does its job, I just don't think it's worth its money. I have found a more economical one, much better. Negative: it runs out of water very quickly. I can't even finish half of my head. It needs refilling every 10 curls. It creates good curls.
I have this specific hair straightener for 7 years.. it's worth every penny 100%, its plates are ceramic and do not damage the hair at all, it has a container for distilled water, personally I have been using regular water all these years and it works the same, just the only downside with regular water is that it collects salts. It straightens the hair perfectly and personally it lasts until the next wash for me. In humidity, the straightening does not hold perfectly, it frizzes a little but that's how my hair is, generally in humidity it doesn't hold for a long time no matter what I do. Nevertheless, I am fully satisfied and would buy it again
I bought it for my daughter, who has normal hair with medium density and length down to her lower back. I dare to say that with just one pass, the result is very good, especially at the first heat setting (170°C). The container even emptied halfway. Very satisfied!
The worst!!!! Waste of money!!!
The water tank is small. It doesn't do anything it promises, neither straightening nor curling! The worst of all... it cuts the hair!
The best straightener I've ever bought.
It is lightweight, the plates glide easily, it produces enough steam, and its shape helps you reach all areas. It can also be used for curls.
Only use demineralized water in the reservoir, otherwise it will break.
Before use, after it has heated up sufficiently, open and close the plates six times (with gentle movements to avoid damaging the plates) to activate the steam.
If you have thick, long hair, it may require refilling, but I don't consider it a negative as it is not difficult to do.
You will have the healthiest hair with this straightener. Soft and voluminous, with shine. I have used many similar ones, and this is by far the best.
While I was very satisfied for exactly two years and without using it so often, only on weekends, the plates came off. I do not recommend it
Bad purchase!
Whenever I want, it produces steam and at some point the plates released something sticky that burned my hair.
At the service, they told me that I forgot something plastic on top and returned it to me...
I have had this straightener for a year and a half, it is the first straightener I have used so I have no opinion on others, but personally I believe it is a good straightener, it has been very helpful for me. I have curly and very frizzy hair, the straightener saved me, it does a good job and the straightening lasts until the next wash. Now, after a year and a half, because I used regular water for the steam, it accumulated salts and I am not very satisfied with the result with the steam, so I will buy another one. However, I am very satisfied with the one and a half years it lasted.
I don't use it much with steam, as a regular straightener it is very good. For curls, it doesn't suit me particularly, I prefer to use a curling iron for curls. However, it heats up very quickly
I bought this specific iron about 3 years ago, during the first period it worked fine with the small boiler it has, simply because my hair is thick and curly, I filled it at least 3 to 4 times. Gradually over time, the boiler started to splash the water I put in, resulting in the water it released leaving marks on the plates. I would not recommend it to anyone, I was not satisfied.
I do not recommend it for any reason.
The steam works whenever it remembers, the boiler is very small, it takes 2-3 refills to straighten all the hair, and it also leaks.
It dehydrates, distresses, and frizzes the hair, even though I used heat protection products beforehand.
I was not satisfied at all... my previous straightener was Babyliss, it cost around 40€ and it provided better straightening, did not distress the hair, and lasted me 5 years.
Having been satisfied in the past with an old press from the same company, I decided not to change brands and bought Belissima again. Unfortunately, this particular product is defective. Specifically, it damages the hair, it is not suitable for curls, and the steam broke immediately, it simply stopped working.
I have straight hair but I use it on days when there is humidity as it tends to frizz, and YET it doesn't do the job, let alone for girls with curly hair. Remington a thousand times better!
I have straight hair that is a bit damaged from frequent dyeing. I bought this product mainly because of the positive reviews. At first, it seemed fine, but as time went on, I realized that it really damages your hair and the straightening doesn't last at all. I've had it for less than a year and it started leaking water from the steam, which resulted in burning my hair while straightening it. And in the end, it doesn't turn on at all anymore. Personally, I wouldn't buy it again.
I was not satisfied at all. The iron does not close properly and its exterior gets so hot that you can't touch it with your hands. The water runs out halfway through the process and the steam does not come out well, resulting in burns. It also frizzes the hair and does not hold the hairstyle. I have had it for almost a year and I am looking for a new one.
My hair is frizzy and I have thick hair, it is very good and straightens it with just one pass!!! Don't forget to use any scissors, iron, and hairdryer before heat protection and for hair damage and shine! They lasted me 3 days, I think it does a good job for its price... of course, I bought demineralized water.
WASTE OF MONEY!!!!! It overheats so much that I can't even hold it to do my job, my hand was burning.. the plates don't close properly, don't even talk about straightening, it doesn't deliver on its promise of durability or lasting power, the steam stopped working very quickly and it was even leaking... And to top it off, it broke after only 1 year.. I can't understand why there is so much advertising, a $10 iron does a much better job
Overall, the iron is very good for its price. I do not recommend it because the steam mechanism (the detachable container that connects to the iron and produces steam) constantly breaks. I assume it is a defective product. I have had it repaired twice under warranty, but I have stopped using it as a steam iron and now use it as a regular iron without steam.
From the first use, I was not satisfied at all with the result! It neither straightens well nor holds the result, and I have frizzy hair! I had the model with the wide plates for about 10 years and I was completely satisfied.. I regret not buying that model again, which I can no longer find..
The water runs out very quickly and it doesn't work satisfactorily. I now use it without water as a regular straightener and it does a very good job.
Very good product!!!! I bought one piece a year ago for my daughter and I bought the same product again for myself, as I have curly hair. The straightening lasts until the next wash. The most important thing is that it doesn't cause split ends...
It broke 3 times so far, and it lasted only 5 months. It barely survived since the last time we sent it for repair, suddenly it stopped working. It's ridiculous, it's not worth it, and I won't send it again. It will go in the trash after all, because the cable broke again even though we had it repaired. It hasn't even lasted a year, just a few months, and it won't turn on again. Finally, 70 euros in the trash. I preferred to throw it away rather than paying again and having it break again. It's not worth it at all
The worst thing the company has produced, it burns the hair and doesn't keep it straight. No comparison to the previous straighteners.
The negatives of the device:
- Its weight. Makes it difficult to use.
- The button for locking (to close the plates between them and keep them there) is decorative. It doesn't work, doesn't respond, doesn't do anything, I don't know why it exists.
- It doesn't have a storage case, like the previous model. Only the box.
- As for the steam and its function, one needs to apply a lot of force to close the plates properly and release the steam. It's tiring.
And I don't see any significant difference in straightening due to the steam.
And I think a simple straightener would do the same job.
In the beginning, everything was fine, but after some use, the steam stopped working and burned my hands many times because it was leaking. And a few days ago, it exploded in my hands, probably due to the salts. I will never buy a steam iron again
I have never tried a steam straightener before, however, I find that the water tank empties frequently. As for my own long and curly hair, it requires at least 5 refills. I haven't seen a significant difference in straightening with the steam
With leniency, the 2 stars..
Among the positives, it heats up quickly and its weight is okay! In the past, I had presses from this company, which were excellent.. Unfortunately, this one feels more like an experiment to me rather than a hair straightener from this company!
*The steam doesn't work properly, resulting in burning hands but mainly hair!
*My natural hair is curly with thick strands, and it takes me over 1 hour to straighten them without proper results!
*I have to refill the steam bottle 5 times!
*It's not worth its money, the Kemei steam straightener can be better!
I went through the process of reading reviews after, unfortunately, I had already purchased it. At first, the vapor came out after some effort, now it doesn't come out at all. I do not recommend it for any reason. It is better for anyone who can, to spend some extra money and get the sream pod.
I do not recommend it for any reason. Really a lot of money for nothing. The steam works very few times while most of the time it just leaks hot water from the holes. As for the straightening it offers, it is indifferent!! I don't even have time for it and I wasted it.
