Lightspeed wireless technology for everyone

The G305 is a wireless gaming mouse with LIGHTSPEED technology designed to deliver exceptional performance using new technological innovations at an affordable price. The next-generation wireless gaming mouse is now available to every gamer.

  • HERO SENSOR

MAX. 12,000 DPI

  • 6 BUTTONS

RESPONSE RATE

10x Efficiency

The HERO sensor uses an intelligent power management system to continuously adjust the frame rate processing based on the mouse's speed. This achieves high performance and accuracy while minimizing energy consumption. This means that the mouse has an autonomy of 250 hours with just one AA battery.

Hero Sensor

The HERO sensor is a truly revolutionary innovation in sensor technology that offers top performance and efficiency. It is the first of its kind to enable the creation of a new generation of high-performance gaming mice with long battery life.

The HERO sensor in action

The HERO sensor offers accuracy at speeds exceeding 400 IPS across the entire DPI range (200-12,000) with zero smoothing, acceleration, or filtering. The HERO sensor provides gamers with unparalleled responsiveness, precision, and energy efficiency.

Lightspeed Wireless Technology

Through comprehensive construction and design, Logitech G developed an exceptional wireless connectivity solution to address key issues such as latency, instability, and connectivity. The result is LIGHTSPEED technology, a professional-grade wireless connectivity solution that offers performance similar to that of wired mice.

Achieve a 1 ms response rate

The engineers at Logitech G conducted a comprehensive technological optimization on all elements of the mouse, from the sensor and firmware to the circuits and antenna design. Our experienced team tested and improved every component, starting from the slowest, until nothing was slow anymore.

Extremely Long Battery Life

The HERO sensor and LIGHTSPEED wireless technology provide exceptionally efficient energy management, allowing you to play for months. It offers up to 250 hours of continuous operation with just one AA battery. It can be configured to last up to 9 months of typical use in endurance mode, which you can select via the Logitech Gaming Software.

6 programmable buttons

The main switches of the G305, both left and right, are designed to have a lifespan of 10 million clicks. The G305 also features a middle button, a DPI button, and two side buttons that you can program according to your preferences through the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).

Ultra Lightweight

At Logitech G, wireless gaming mice don't have to be heavy. The G305 is very lightweight, weighing only 99 grams, thanks to the special design of the mechanical parts and the extremely efficient use of the battery.

Play Anywhere

The durable and lightweight small-sized design and the built-in case for the USB nano receiver make the G305 the ideal accessory for your travels.

Mechanical Button Tensioning System

The mechanical button tensioning with separated buttons offers more consistent response of the main right and left buttons, while requiring less force for each click. This way, the button performance is more reliable, so you can trust the mouse even in the most competitive games.

At 35€, it's the only budget option worth getting for a wireless mouse under 50€. The next best option is the Razer Orochi V2. It's also featured here: https://youtu.be/yfStwwBFCEw

Initially, the battery is a bit unacceptable for a battery that needs to be replaced every time it runs out. HOWEVER, this is not the mouse's fault. It's the battery that comes with the mouse. I recommend anyone who gets this to also get a lithium AA or AAA battery (which can be combined with an adapter to make it AA size) and it will be perfect.

I like the build quality of this mouse more than the much more expensive G PRO Superlight, especially the surface.

I don't like the weight of it with the AA, not because it's heavy in general, but because the weight is distributed incorrectly where the battery is. I prefer to use it with an AAA battery, as the problem (maybe just my preference) is reduced quite a bit that way.

While its wireless is incredibly clean like all Logitech and Razer wireless products I use, I easily experience interference from Wi-Fi, other USB devices, or even reasons I haven't figured out yet. According to what I've found on Reddit, others have this issue too. Of course, this doesn't make the wireless bad, as it may occur in certain situations. I didn't have any interference issues with the G PRO.

The clicks have a nice feel, not too light and not too hard, and their travel distance is fine. I haven't had any double-clicking issues like with the G Pro.

The big negative for me, which if we weren't talking about a 35€ mouse, would give it endless stars, is the mouse feet. Logitech isn't generally known for its mouse feet, even in its new mice (except for the G303 Shroud), but these are overly thin and small, making them incredibly quirky about what mousepad I can use and even when I use the 'perfect' mousepad for it, I feel like they're scratching on the mousepad. I recommend changing the mouse feet 100% to anyone who wants to keep the mouse.

Finally, while it suits many, it didn't take me too long to get used to it, and even after I did, I still felt like it didn't fit me. Of course, I've received positive feedback from several people with small palms and few negatives, so I guess if you have small palms, you'll accept it!

Overall, the mouse is fine for its 35€ price tag! But as I said, the must-change things for me are: the battery to be lithium, either AA or AAA. If you go for the latter, also buy an adapter. PTFE mouse feet like Corepad, for example.

If you have a medium palm and want an economical wireless mouse, I might recommend the Razer Orochi V2. It's quite close to the 305's philosophy, but personally, I consider it superior in shape, lighter, PTFE mouse feet, better switches, but it costs 20€ more.

The mouse started double-clicking 1.5 months after the warranty expired. It was never dropped or hit. The irony of the situation is that my older mouse, the G9, continues to work after 10+ years.

Very satisfied with the purchase! It has a nice feel in the hand. The buttons are clicky with a small range of motion. Personally, I don't mind the extra weight due to the batteries; it gives stability and allows for more precise movements.

  • The scroll wheel compared to the Wired Logitech G203 I had doesn't make as much noise, if any at all. But in reality, everything will make even the slightest noise with friction.

And the best part is that it's worth the money and is very useful for FPS Shooters, and overall the fact that it doesn't have a cable on it is incredibly convenient.

There's no reason why someone shouldn't get it if they want something lighter, something comfortable to hold, and something more comfortable to move and more efficient.

Of course, with more money, you can get a better mouse, but for this price, you can't go wrong.

    5 for price-vfm.

4 overall as a mouse. Lightweight ergonomic but also quality for its price. There are definitely much more quality ones at a higher price.

The only negative is that for low latency you need to use the cable extender to be close to the mouse which automatically cancels the wireless part. But for casual use where latency doesn't bother you, it is a very good and honest vfm product.

    I have bought 3.

Perfect. No problem, the battery lasts for 6 months without a change and in collaboration with the G Hub, it is fantastic in games since you can create setups with DPI and various other things for every game you play, as it detects them directly. Get it.

I have had it for almost half a year and so far I am very satisfied with what I have purchased for 45 euros. I believe it is the best wireless mouse on the market. Of course, I would recommend it to people with small hands because it is relatively small, but still very satisfactory

I think the price is a bit steep for the final product, but overall it's worth the money. It could be 10-20€ lower. The buttons sound a bit, it's quite light in weight, and in terms of battery life, I've had it on for almost 2 months continuously and the battery still hasn't dropped below half according to the G Hub

Very good budget choice for anyone looking for a wireless gaming mouse. It is quite small, so it is mainly suitable for small hands or claw grip.

It is a bit heavier at the back due to the battery, but it can easily be modded to take AAA battery. And with AAA it lasts a long time, plus its weight comes to a perfect level.

Good gaming mouse of small/medium size that left me with mixed feelings.
The sensor is excellent in speed and responsiveness, good for gaming but also general use.
The plastic shell is quite sturdy but the lack of rubber grips bothers me, and there is already some glossiness on the surfaces after a few months of moderate use.
Accidental clicks are a very common occurrence, although my hand has started to adapt, it was very annoying in the first 2 weeks.

I would say it is the poor little brother of the G502.

It gives me the impression that they put a Ferrari engine in a FIAT chassis.
At the price I got it (~€35), it was value for money

Unfortunately, it did not suit me at all. After a short period of use, it becomes tiring in the hand because it does not fully embrace it. Maybe it's also a size issue, meaning it fits better in relatively small hands.
Anyway, I couldn't handle using it for more than a few months. Because my fingers started to hurt, I replaced it with my old MS one. So, I'm back in search...

The clicks have a slightly cheap feel and personally, I don't like the feedback they have (they are pressed too easily and don't feel as good as in more premium mice). However, you can find the same clicks in more expensive Logitech mice. The roller broke after about a year. I wouldn't recommend it for shooters because of the feedback from the clicks, the heavy weight, and the strange grip it has. It's okay for games like LOL

With about 2 weeks of use, I will describe my first impression. Let's start with the positives:
    1. It has a very good response time.
    2. It has a decent range.
    3. It has a convenient settings menu (everyone should download the Logitech hub).

    Now onto my complaints:
    1. I would like it to be a bit bigger (not necessarily a negative for everyone, just that I have slightly larger hands).
    2. While the initial construction is very lightweight, the battery weighs it down quite a bit (it doesn't become too heavy or uncomfortable).
    3. I don't feel like the construction is very durable.

In conclusion, I believe it is a decent mouse for its price. Especially if you are casual gamers and not pros

What you pay is what you get in the end. The Logitech 305 is perhaps the best all-around mouse and I have been using it for 1.5 years at 2500-3000 dpi and 4k screens (design packages). Not only fast but also accurate, extremely lightweight and ergonomic. In terms of build quality and reliability, it is excellent (it captures 100% signal with minimal AA battery consumption). I have also tested it in games and it performs exceptionally well. Once you hold it, the rest will seem cheap and inadequate.

Quite a good mouse as long as a parameterization is done, which concerns the battery. Specifically, because almost all AA alkaline batteries that the mouse accepts weigh about 24g, the mouse weighs 100g, resulting in it being a bit heavy and specifically the weight being concentrated at the back without proper distribution. What I did was to take a battery compartment spring from an old device, place it on top of the battery compartment spring of the mouse, and then (with surgical precision) insert a lithium AAA battery (it's a bit expensive, but they also have 3 times more endurance), which weighs 8g. Then we will be talking about another mouse that will weigh 80-82g.

The only reason I bought it was because the reviews said it was quiet, which is not true. The keys make a lot of noise, especially if you want to use it at night or be discreet. However, it is convenient to hold and has very fast response

This mouse has been in daily use for a year by me. I have been fully satisfied with this product and will focus on two things, connectivity and battery.
So, I will start with its connectivity by saying that despite the fact that I have set the software to use the regular "endurance" mode instead of "performance", I have not noticed any delay in its response all these months, both in regular internet browsing and in gaming, including FPS games. And here comes the battery, which has not been replaced once during the year.
However, I must admit that for my own standards, I would have preferred it to be slightly longer in length, but it is an excellent purchase in my opinion that caters to at least the average user.

I bought it a few days ago. The reason for the purchase was that my previous mouse was extremely heavy and bulky (Corsair Nightsword). For now, it performs perfectly. It is used for FPS games and I can say that it has pleasantly surprised me. I haven't noticed any loss in accuracy. Of course, it is connected with the USB dongle and not with Bluetooth. Its size is small-medium, and its weight is medium due to the AAA battery. I highly recommend it.

  • I have it for my work laptop, it is small, fits in the hand, its weight is just right so as not to tire the hand, it responds excellently, it is programmable for everything (dpi, shortcuts, macros, etc).

If you want a small mouse, you're here.

I have been using this mouse for 2 months now, and I have to say that it has given me a very good impression.

    SIZE:
The mouse is medium-sized, comfortable to hold, and relatively heavy, which is logical as it operates with an AA battery that significantly increases its weight.

    DURABILITY:
Initially, the mouse seemed durable, but soon I encountered a problem that many users on the forum face. The battery cover is loose, and I had to put a piece of cardboard inside to keep it stable as it would get loose during use. Additionally, the Logitech logo faded after a month and a half.

    PERFORMANCE:
The mouse is excellent in terms of responsiveness and has been very helpful in high-rank gaming, especially FPS games.

    OVERALL:
For its price, it is an excellent choice. The weight and the issue with the battery cover are the only flaws based on my experience. I highly recommend it for the price of less than 40 euros!

Good but quite heavy. It has an issue with the battery, in sudden hand movements it can cause the battery to move and disconnect for a few seconds.

Very good mouse and just so you know, when you buy the first one, it already has a battery inside so you don't need to buy it separately.

The best gaming mouse I've ever had for a hardworking gamer is the best mouse at its price and its construction is sturdy. I recommend it to all of you who are into gaming, it's sturdy, wireless, and works without the Internet.

After 2 years of having the same mouse for my desktop computer, I also got one for my laptop. For me, it's the ultimate value for money mouse! Perfect size and weight, impeccable response, no delay, very good software, and as for the battery, you simply forget to change it as it lasts for months with daily use for hours.

After about 1 to 1.5 years, the receiver broke and I learned that it doesn't work with Logitech's unifying receiver. So, good luck to anyone who experiences the same thing as me in finding a receiver. Update: Since I bought it from a store that has a physical location in my city, I was able to exchange it directly, so I have a new mouse with a new warranty. I also spoke with Logitech support and they were quite informative. However, if someone wants to be flexible, I wouldn't recommend this mouse because of the receiver. Overall, it has served me incredibly well for the use I make of it (I don't play games).

I don't have much to say about the mouse...there's simply nothing more value for money than this one...a battery lasts forever, the mouse is beautiful, lightweight, good in the hand, doesn't get dirty, and the Logitech software is very useful and works perfectly with many options.

I have loved this mouse for about 2 years now and often recommend it to people who want a wireless mouse at a relatively low price.

    2. Initially, the weight. It's certainly not as light as, say, Logitech's superlight mice, but if you're coming from a relatively heavy mouse, you'll definitely notice the difference.

    3. The latency is one of the things that impressed me the most, as it has never caused me any problems.

    4. As for quality, I can say that I got it in white and after 2 years it's still white. It's relatively small though, so if you have large hands it may feel small to you. Also, there have been times when I hit it with quite a bit of force and it hasn't suffered any damage, so for those who play LoL, you know it won't break.

    5. Overall, a very good mouse. I am very satisfied with my purchase and I believe that for a wireless mouse at this price, it is the most reliable one you can get.
