Wash your cast iron cookware by hand. You can use a small amount of soap. If needed, use a pan scraper to remove stuck-on food. For stubborn, stuck-on food, simmer a little water for 3-5 minutes and then use the scraper after the pan has cooled.
Dry immediately and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. If you notice a few black residues on your towel, it is just seasoning and is perfectly normal.
Finally, apply a very light layer of cooking oil to the surface of your cookware. Use a paper towel to wipe the surface until no oil residue remains.

Very good frying pan, but it requires special handling. Seasoning, washing with coarse salt, etc. This is not a big problem, it's just more difficult to use than a regular frying pan. Nevertheless, it is awesome. It caramelizes steaks wonderfully and bakes pies very nicely. I also bought the lid and made amazing oven-baked legumes. Because it has a high heat capacity, it cooks slowly and perfectly. It is not suitable for everyday use and foods like eggs will definitely stick. Its advantage is that you can start on the stovetop and then move to the oven. However, the €120 for the lid and frying pan together is not worth it. It bakes just as well in the oven with a fireproof dish that costs €40. It may be superior in baking pies perhaps
