I don't know what's wrong, but the phone needs to be in a specific position (I don't know which position each time) in order to charge it, and if it moves and I don't realize it, it has happened several times that I found it uncharged, on top of the charger. I don't know if it's a general charger issue or if I got a defective product. I'm using it with the iPhone 12 Pro.

  • I bought this specific Wireless Charging Pad for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G that supports up to 15W wireless charging. Of course, I was aware that its maximum is 10W but I am not interested in fast charging. When I need fast charging, I have the wired one with 25W.

What interests me is for it not to make noise because I will have it on the nightstand and for the light (LED) not to bother me. Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky with both... :(

It makes noise, not much but when you have it next to your head all night, it is very annoying. It's like hearing continuous small "gunshots"... :) I bought another brand for the same price and it is silent.

Also, the little light it has is always on. Even when you're not charging the device! The LED may be small but it is bright in the dark.

Also, because the surface is small, it requires attention when placing it. It has happened to me (not often) that charging starts and because it wasn't placed correctly, it stops in the middle of the night.

Its good points are that it is beautiful with its surface resembling a mirror, it is small in size which is convenient. Also, its price is affordable. I tried it with a case and had no issues with charging.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend it though. There are better options on the market at the same price.

    Good charger but...
I charge an iPhone XS Max, usually at night, without a case it charges perfectly and stops charging when the phone reaches 100%.
With a case, it's really frustrating, while it shows at the beginning that it's charging, after a while the charging stops and the indicator light flashes quickly, resulting in no charge at all in the morning.

It looks good, charges Samsung very quickly without the case (or slowly with the case), satisfactory speeds for the iPhone XS but not faster than the original charger, the iPhone charges with and without the case without heating up. I would have liked at least 1 year warranty but they only gave me 3 months, that's why I give it 1 star. Anyone who wants more information can read the rest.

I have read a lot about wireless charging, many problems have been mentioned and I will mention them.
    1. "Wireless charging with electromagnetic fields creates micro vibrations, and if the phone is glass it moves and comes off its position." I tried this charger with a regular and QC3.0 fast charger on a naked Galaxy S7 and iPhone XS and they do not move.
    2. "Low-quality wireless chargers make noise and are annoying, either high-pitched due to bad circuits, or because of the fan." This one does not have a fan, it does not make noise, and the circuits do not whistle.
    3. "They burn easily and frequently." We will see that in time. However, they only gave me 3 months warranty.
    4. "They heat up and interrupt the charging." There is a possibility of that, but with an ambient temperature of 28 degrees and Adaptive fast charging 9V on the Galaxy S7, even though the phone heats up (as it does with fast charging via cable), the charging curve is smooth and shows no interruptions. With the iPhone, fast charging at 7.5 watts, the XS is just warm.
    5. "It doesn't work if you have a case on your phone." This is true for many wireless chargers. The iPhone charges flawlessly with a thick case on this charger. The Galaxy S7 charges with a regular power supply and a thick case, but with a fast charge power supply (genuine Adaptive Fast Charger or QC3.0), the charging does not start unless you remove it from the case. It seems that the 9V requires a shorter distance on the coil that this Baseus charger has.
    6. "Not all phones are compatible." This is 100% true. All phones that support wireless charging are compatible with slow charging at 5V/5Watt. But in order to fast charge your phone, the charging pad must support your phone's fast charge protocol.
iPhones require 5V/7.5Watt with a power supply of 5V/2A. The iPad charger is good, but the iPhone charger will provide slow charging.
Samsung phones require 9Watt with a QC3.0 power supply or adaptive fast charger 5V/2A + 9V/1.67Amp. Baseus does not mention 9Watt but it seems to charge at fast charging speeds.
Other phones require 10Watt or 15Watt. A charging pad has an efficiency of about 70%, so if your phone requires 10W for wireless fast charging, you will need to use a power supply of about 15 Watt. This means that your phone's power supply, even though it supports fast charging via USB, may not provide fast charging for wireless charging.
A phone that charges on a wireless charger in 3 hours with the case on may charge in 2.5 hours without the case. The induction of current is lower as the distance increases, so the further away the phone is, the less current it will receive.
