Closed Casket
After the global success of the book "The Monogram Murders" and 100 years after Agatha Christie created her famous hero, Hercule Poirot returns in the new novel "Closed Casket" by Sophie Hannah.

Lady Athelinda Playford has invited some friends to her mansion for a week, but their stay will not unfold as usual. As the guests arrive, she dictates an urgent change to her will to her lawyer - a change she intends to announce that very evening.
Surprisingly, she has decided to disinherit her two children and leave her entire estate to a man who has only a few weeks to live... Among the guests are two men the hostess has never met - the famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and Inspector Edward Catchpool of Scotland Yard. Neither of them knows why they were invited... but Poirot begins to suspect that Lady Playford is expecting the strike of a murderer.

After the publication of her first book in 1920, Agatha Christie wrote 33 novels, 2 plays, and more than 50 short stories featuring Hercule Poirot. Now, for the first time, the trustees of the legendary author's estate have approved a brand-new novel featuring her most beloved hero.

Poirot's quiet dinner at a London café is interrupted when a young woman confides in him that her murder is imminent. She is terrified but begs Poirot not to find or punish her killer; for with her death, she claims, justice will be served.
A little later that same evening, Poirot learns that three residents of a luxurious London hotel have been murdered, and that a cufflink with the same monogram was found in the mouth of each victim. Is there a connection to the terrified woman in the café? As Poirot struggles to piece together the bizarre fragments of this puzzle, is the murderer preparing another room in the hotel for his fourth victim?
