A few years ago, my late mother was informed by a very close family friend about the existence of a "lost" work by Georgios Frantzis, author of the famous "Chronicle", his daughter Theodora's work on the Fall of Constantinople. (. . .) So, I used it as the main material, of course changing the original language and plot of the work, in order to firstly acquire more historical accuracy and secondly to highlight the Greek contribution to that heroic struggle.
