"Necrasoph" is a farce-satire, as the author himself states in an interview, that reproduces the structure of society. With this work, the pristine face of a specific section of the Press, as well as the powerful representatives of power in every society, is demythologized. Sartre intended to approach the genre of comedy as envisioned and established by Aristophanes, for this reason the text contains comedic elements.

In Necrasoph, the philosopher-playwright draws inspiration and thematic elements from the socio-political reality of his time, in order to compose a political satire that involves fertile humorous scenes and reflects a timeless relevance. The technique of theater within theater is the main dramatic tool used, shaping visually the entire duration of the acts and images of the work.
