I was looking for a mouse that would be comfortable for my little finger as I was scratching the mouse pad and my finger was getting caught due to prolonged use. This one came and solved all my problems. And the best part is the side buttons that you can adjust however you want and assign any function you want... and finally, Razer, make Synapse 3 a stable version. Enough!
The only positive things I can find about this mouse are that it is beautiful and convenient to use, but in the past three months, the side buttons started to fade away. Sometimes they didn't work at all and I had to plug and unplug it multiple times for it to work... It's really unacceptable for a mouse that cost me 90 euros to have such problems. I used to be a fan of Razer, but they have really compromised on the build quality of their products. For the same amount of money, I prefer other companies that offer better quality, such as HyperX, Logitech, Corsair, etc. Unfortunately, Razer is only good for aesthetics and not for the quality you expect for the price you pay...
Good evening everyone, it's a great mouse and worth all its money. I would like to ask you if someone has the version with the 2 buttons, I'm buying it!
I bought this specific mouse used from someone I know. However, even though I have been using it for 4 years, it hasn't had any issues. I have it specifically for WoW because I need a lot of buttons for skills. It has incredible chroma and now I have gotten used to it and I can't play with something that has less than 12 buttons on the thumb. The only thing you need is a little time to adjust to all these buttons, but after that, it's a game-changer!
Quite good, nice sturdy construction. The fact that it has 3 layers for different requirements makes it unique. I haven't encountered any issues, the magnet that holds the layer is strong and stable, it won't come off on its own. The negatives are that it has a poor grip, many times when I lift it, it slips from my hand. And the wheel is very hard, but you get used to it over time. Do I recommend it? YES, especially if you play RPGs and switch to FPS, changing the layer makes the game much more enjoyable and relaxing.
After a while, I also noticed the same problem as the others. The layer with the 6-7 buttons doesn't work.
The only negative thing I have found in the mouse so far is in its scroll wheel. Because the scroll is very hard, sometimes when you try to move the wheel you may accidentally press it inward without realizing it.
Great mouse with awesome settings, the keyboard with the 12 side buttons has served me well in games. Incredible quality, the fact that it's Razer says a lot!
Three years ago I bought it on Black Friday and for 2.5 years everything went perfectly. Six months ago it developed a problem with the detachable with the many buttons and I searched for an alternative without success. I bought the same one. NO RELATION. The wheel is clearly worse, it doesn't turn correctly, it sticks, I had to return it but even the second one had no relation to the one I bought three years ago. In the second one, after 6 months, the wheel hardened even more and the left and right clicks don't always work and now the central left button started double-clicking. Razer has deteriorated the quality so much that you should not buy it.
Double-clicks after about 1 year of use.
For throwing away after about a year, like the rest of the Razer products.
In the Basilisk, the button that reduces DPI stopped working.
In the Nari Ultimate, the left headphone stops working at full volume.
Not to mention their unacceptable software that disconnects everything at random times.
I am very careful with my things.
All Razer products are unacceptable.
To pay 200 euros for a mouse and have it be disposable in a year
I have had this particular mouse for about 3 months, and its movement and clicking response are quite satisfactory. However, when it comes to the side buttons, it is unacceptable! I prefer the side scroll wheel that goes from number 1 to 7, just like the Naga v2 that I had before. The only numbers that work are 1, 2, 3, and 7. Numbers 4, 5, and 6 seem to not exist. I take off the side part and blow on it a little, and it seems like it's about to start working, but after a while, it stops again and doesn't function. I have tried contacting Razer for a mouse replacement, but all they tell me is that it is out of warranty, even though I bought the mouse less than 4 months ago. This issue started on the 4th day... why Razer? I had their first keyboard and mouse release, and it wasn't this bad!
Kids, the mouse is terrible. More than half of the buttons don't work over time. Even the basic clicks don't respond. NEVER again Razer for me
Whoever buys such a mouse clearly wants it for MMO. After setting up the settings, which are saved on the mouse, I disabled the Razer applications from Startup because they simply connect online and interrupt the equipment's function. It's one of the most comfortable mice in my hands, and I am 1.94 meters tall with large hands. It has the right weight, not too heavy or too light. Sometimes, rarely, the buttons don't respond, so I remove the magnetic attachment, reattach it, and it works fine. (I also blow on it a bit, but be careful not to add too much moisture). I would buy this again and not the Pro version with batteries and complications and disconnections. I mainly use the circular function. It takes a little getting used to, maybe a month plus.
The wheel does not respond immediately and it frustrates me quite a bit. Also, the "cushion" is on the little finger, while in the previous basilisk it was on the thumb, so my thumb drags on the mousepad. It is also heavy. Unfortunately, it did not suit me at all
The mouse is perfect as a mouse. However, the software needed for it to function is terrible. It stops working in the middle of the game, updates whenever it wants, has countless bugs, and randomly alt tabs you out of full screen. Razer is dead!
After 2 years of using the product, I have several issues with both the left click and when changing the side part. It is not worth the money in any case, I simply do not recommend Razer mice, just not this particular one
The fact that the distance from the thumb is not adjustable for the side buttons prevents me from buying it.
Well!! Words are unnecessary, the mouse sets fire. They say it's only for right-handed people, but for me personally, being left-handed, it suited me perfectly. I highly recommend it
I had all the naga models from 2014, both the regular, chroma, and trinity. They have done a great job with the 5g laser sensor and so far I have absolutely no issues with tracking, unlike many other Razer mice. Definitely a great choice, especially if you're used to larger mice with 12 side buttons.
Amazing. Much better than the Corsair Scimitar and Logitech G600 that I had and sold. Day and night in terms of quality.
I sent it back 3 times for replacement due to a defective product.
2. And now that it came back again, it is still defective. I am referring to the side panel with the 12 buttons. The 5 and 6 buttons don't work sometimes.
It is the third Naga that I have in my possession, I started from the first one in the 2012 model and now I am on the Trinity, I have had it for a year so far without any problems, although to be honest I mainly use the plug-in with the 12 buttons. If the price was 15 lower, I would recommend it to everyone for everyday use, as with a little practice it can be used for many tasks outside of gaming. Be careful, if you get used to it, you will start forgetting the keyboard.
After 2 years, the right click stopped working. Unfortunately, I had lost the warranty for 1 month, so there was no replacement. I also sent a video showing the issue to Razer, etc. In their message, they acknowledge that it is indeed broken and hasn't suffered any external damage, like a fall, for example. However, since the warranty has expired, they offered me a €10 coupon instead. LOL.
I have it for 2 months and I use it daily, both for gaming and for regular use. It works perfectly without the slightest sign of wear. The only thing I would like is for the side buttons to be slightly harder, as I have sometimes accidentally pressed a button while trying to aim. Other than that, it is exactly what I wanted, the side buttons can be easily changed and everything can be adjusted through synapse, making it ideal for any use.
It is one of the best mice on the market. With 80+ euros, you get a beast. Whether you play MMO or MOBA, it is the most suitable mouse on the market. The previous Naga was only for such users, while this one is also suitable for regular use. It has 3 side panels. One with 12 buttons, one with 7, and one with two. Its buttons are mechanical and can withstand 80 million clicks. I recommend it for those who play games and want to have shortcuts from the keyboard to the mouse. It is heavy due to the buttons compared to other mice. 100 grams. It also has a side rest for the fourth finger. It is for large hands, I would not recommend it for small hands. It is not the best for FPS as you need a light one, but it worked for me
Perhaps one of the best mice on the market. I won't analyze it like the others, but I will say that you should be careful with the cable as it is not very durable and can easily be damaged. Other than that, it may be one of the best options if you have the budget
In summary, I was a user of the Death adder series for years. I switched to Trinity for the following simple reason.
HOTKEYS for EVERYTHING. It renders a large part of my keyboard bindings useless. Especially for MMO users like WoW, SWToR, Elder Scrolls, etc., where each character has a plethora of skills, the hotkeys it offers free up your hands. Avoid the ctrl+*whatever alphanumeric* or alt+*the same* and simply assign them to the quick key bindings it provides.
Owner for 1 year. Right click made a double click when it was pressed (meaning, I had it pressed and it made 1-2 clicks on its own without me releasing the click).
I sent it to Razer, after 3 days they told me that it is indeed faulty, and to wait for the new one they will give me as a replacement. 12 (!) days and I am still waiting for it to arrive. The warranty was good (2 years), but instead of going through the whole process again, I would definitely get something else.
For me, it's worth it if the price drops to $65 (I bought it for $70 with discounts in the US).
EDIT 16/09/2021: Today the mouse presented double click again, after about 1.5 years. It definitely deserves its money, but I will definitely go for something more quality next time. For someone who wants it for MMO, it is a one-way street at this price.
Very powerful tool, fast with many DPI, comfortable and very convenient with the change of plates and many settings with razer synapse 3. You can put macros and many others. Of course, a bit expensive but worth it
After one year of use, the RGB on the wheel broke and it shows the colors slightly more yellow (mine is normally white)
