This particular product contains hydrolyzed wheat protein and dimethicone. The hair is already made up of protein and, depending on how porous it is, can benefit from additional proteins for strength and elasticity. Dimethicone is a silicone with a positive charge; it adheres to damaged hair to provide shine and resilience, while its positive charge prevents build-up. The old version of the cream did not have dimethicone. Its addition suggests use for damaged, dyed, or permed hair. If your hair is not damaged to such an extent, it probably won't suit you well. There are more moisturizing conditioners available.

Source: I used this before and after a perm. Before the perm, it left my hair tight and without elasticity. After the perm, it did its job just fine. Consider your hair type and purchase accordingly.

I have wavy hair that tends to frizz. The cream did not particularly define my curls and left a hardness/dryness in the hair. It smells nice. I would not buy it again.

Excellent product that is both heat protective and protects against frizz. I apply it both before and after and have noticed a difference in hair frizz. Affordable and convenient!

It does what it promises! It requires a small amount before blow-drying (I also apply afterwards) and completely avoids frizz. Very reasonable price!

It does a real job for frizz, whether on curly or straight hair. If it gives shape to curls, I didn't notice, as it claims, but it is definitely the best for frizz. I have never bought another product.

It is a simple product that indeed softens the hair but does not help with the elasticity of the curl. Especially for very curly hair, it does not work except as a leave-in conditioner, without providing shape.

There is no better product for frizz. I had literally tried everything and expensive. Never did any of them reduce my frizz even a little. I have been saved with this! It's like I've been to the hairdresser!! Finally something serious on the market!

I buy it for my daughter, who has curly hair that frizzes. It is very effective on curls, making them stand out and not frizz. Tip: to avoid reapplying, you can wet your hair to "refresh" it. It is a bit expensive, needing a bottle almost every 1.5 months for medium-length hair.

It smells amazing, makes the curls shiny, soft, and clean. Also, it is not greasy at all, not even for me who has very oily hair
