I bought this in 2017, it's a good and powerful flashlight with two modes. The turbo mode works for a maximum of 1 minute before it gets too hot. After two years, the black color started peeling off completely. I would prefer if it had a replaceable battery. All these features that are fixed, like the battery, only last for a certain period of time before they become useless, so it's very expensive for a flashlight that you know has an expiration date
The only thing that didn't leave me satisfied is its buttons, for this price they could have been a little more durable. In terms of brightness and battery life, it is truly incredible for its size.
Positive impressions beyond the technical characteristics.
It is impressive how something so small produces such powerful light! Especially in completely dark spaces, it turns night into day! I was impressed by the diffusion of light, although it spreads uniformly throughout the space annoyingly white. Depending on the occasion, you adjust the intensity of the light yourself. It is relatively waterproof; during heavy rain hours, I had it hanging around my neck with a string and nothing happened. For someone who works outside at night and needs a light with small volume and weight, it is ideal and worth the money.
Impressions that troubled me! I expected - for its price - to have settings for the larger lenses (strobe-sos-Becon). I expected the high intensity to have the option of being a steady light, not a momentary touch! The battery seems to last much less than it claims, even though I use it for very short light uses! The battery indicator helps at least so that I don't run out in difficult situations. The lock buttons are annoying; you have to wait 2 seconds for them to open (they could have made it with a sliding button or something), and many times you think you pressed it but you didn't, so you have to wait another 2 seconds while you are in a hurry!... and it's annoying!... I tried to use the turbo instead, but it doesn't work for close work because it blinds you!... I have somewhat gotten used to the time lock, but it's not a solution because many times it turns on if it is pressed with other things. Another thing I noticed is that sometimes the battery overheats excessively compared to its use (supposedly it has a protection chip), and I found out that it was because of water leakage from the rain on the circuit board, and that the whole construction does not have rubber seals (especially on the buttons) for waterproofing. Nevertheless, it worked for me and it is irreplaceable!
-> Update 24-Sep-2020: The battery seems to hold up well, and it was probably the initial charges that were wrong, those were the wrong impressions I had.
-> Update 2023: The reliability dog is still present in everyday active use! It is worth the money and more for the job I need it for. Production must have stopped, so grab it while it's in stock. Of course, to keep it as a product, I used it CAREFULLY: I took care of its battery, I didn't let it discharge completely, I always charged it as soon as it reached one remaining energy light, and I always made sure not to overheat the battery with prolonged use.
One thing I will tell you - I have this on my keys.
It is very powerful, although it looks bulky - and it is - but its power compared to its small construction makes you overlook it.
As soon as it falls down, it leaves a mark, a dent, and the color of it that I have on my keys has faded quite a bit - but this has also happened with other lenses in the past - so it's logical.
