God loves His creation so much that He sends His Only Begotten and Beloved Son to be crucified, to give His Immaculate Body and Precious Blood for the salvation of mankind.

A mother loves her children so much that she does not hesitate to uproot her own heart in order to see them wearing the unfading crowns of their martyrdom, truly and eternally happy in the embrace of their Father.

Three girls remain steadfast in the Orthodox faith, which their mother has instilled in them, and in the deep love they feel for their God the Father, so much so that with inner joy and patience they choose horrific tortures over royal glory, grandeur, honors, and positions.

The mother is Saint Sophia, who lives in the early 2nd century in a large city in Italy. A noble woman, descended from a glorious and illustrious lineage, devout, filled with the Grace of the Holy Spirit, she marries a modest husband and they have three God-given daughters.

The girls are Saints Faith, Hope, and Love.
