Supporting photographic and video equipment weighing up to 325 g, the flexible mini tripod GorillaPod Magnetic Mini Flexible Mini-Tripod from Joby is a compact and versatile option for stabilizing your gear. Its legs consist of various joints that allow you to wrap it around objects and adjust it for use on uneven terrain, while its legs are equipped with neodymium magnets that can securely attach to various types of metal objects. Weighing just 36.9 g, this tripod is easy to carry during travel, allowing you to fit it in a small bag or even keep it in your pocket.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It is very high-quality and sturdy.
The magnets it has on each "clamp" are very strong and hold the GoPro securely, even when I have it fully extended with the legs stretched, causing the weight of the camera to shift away from the point of support.
However, it not only doesn't understand anything, but it also requires quite a bit of force to detach it from the iron (!!!!!!).
I was a little surprised by this aspect!!!
The length will be both a positive and a negative.
It is convenient to always have it with you everywhere, but it also cannot be attached, for example, to a thick tree branch, as the clamps should be further apart in order to be able to embrace the branch and hang.
Also, another older one I had from the same company had a release button for the base that screws onto the camera from the rest of the body with the clamps (for example, if you have it hooked onto a branch and want to briefly hold the camera in your hands for some reason and then place it back on the tripod).
Here, this option does not exist, and you have to unhook the tripod and set it up again on the branch.
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I was bothered by its length.
One or two extra balls would have been fine, I believe.
But it is very practical in terms of size for transportation, as I mentioned, and that makes it convenient in my opinion.
