In me, who has oily eyelids, it smudges after a while without causing any tears or eye rubbing. So, I don't consider it waterproof. Otherwise, it is a good mascara but not something amazing in terms of volume, length, and curl.

I have tried the non-waterproof version of this mascara along with this one. There are small differences between them, so I will emphasize the regular one first and then this one.

Non-waterproof:
• Flexible in building up the product. I noticed this because if I wanted something more natural or more dramatic, I could achieve that result.
• It tended to smudge on the lower lashes (even with a small amount), causing the product to clump. This is mainly due to my combination to oily skin.
• When curling with an eyelash curler, it held relatively well on short to medium straight lashes.

Waterproof:
• Incredible lasting power on my lashes. When using the curler, the result lasts all day without smudging.
• It is smudge-proof, so I don't have a problem with clumps above or below the eyes.
• It is not flexible in building up. The formula is different as it stabilizes the lashes, so I cannot use it alone for a dramatic result, more for a natural look. In combination with another mascara, I can.
• It is not difficult to remove.

In short, I prefer this version and recommend it!

You apply this mascara and then simply look for a way to remove it. This may seem scary to some, but for me, it is what I look for in a mascara. Because I generally have long eyelashes. It is stubborn and does not come off easily.
