North of Zagori and up to the Greek-Albanian border, the mountains and ridges form an unknown and inaccessible mountainous country until relatively recently.
The wide gorge of Sarantaporos creates the boundary between the three major mountains, Gramos, Smolika, and Voio, while the unknown Vasilitza has become famous in recent years thanks to its extensive ski center.
The map covers the area between Nestorio and Gramousta in the north and Smixi and Konitsa in the south and is accompanied by a brief presentation of the main hiking trails in the area.
