Relive the impressive masterpiece with the renowned Sumi-e ink painting style in stunning high resolution. You take on the role of Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess in the form of a legendary white wolf, in an effort to defeat Orochi, an eight-headed demon tyrant who wants to turn the world of Nippon into a vast wasteland.

A beautiful game both in terms of story and graphics. Its gameplay is enjoyable and doesn't tire you at all.
The game is a bit old, it's like Undertale, especially the sound they speak at the beginning. Anyway, it's nice that you can have duels and design and stuff, I just don't like the sound. Other than that, it's fine
Tremendous experience playing the game on PS2, let alone on 4! Interesting story, amazing colors, it captivates you! One of the nicest games I've ever had the chance to play!
For me, it was one of the best games I had played on the Ps2, its graphics were incredible for that time, and on the Ps4, they are improved. Also, its story is based on Chinese myths and unfolds in such a nice way that it makes you want to see what will happen next, in which place it will take you, which gods you will meet, and of course, what will be the result of your presence there.
The Zelda of Playstation! The game is fantastic! I bought it a long time ago for the PS2 expecting just good graphics and I didn't regret it for a moment.
Based on Japanese mythology, you control the goddess of creation, Amaterasu, who takes the form of a wolf in the game. The world of Nipon (Japan in Japanese) has been taken over by demons and it is your duty to heal it piece by piece.
All the characters speak in a gibberish language, but after a few hours, you get used to it, and after a few more hours, you start to appreciate that they didn't just use plain text or some bad voice acting.
The main mechanism of the game is the celestial brush, where you can stop time at any moment and paint on the screen. The paintings are very simple, it's very easy to do them with a controller (in the Wii version, it was more difficult with the motion control no matter how incredible it may seem), and you have to be very close to the end of the game to feel like you might forget something. When you start, you are very limited, but as you progress through the story and heal the world, you learn new moves, unlock new areas, new tricks, and overall make the game more enjoyable.
Apart from that, it's huge! The story seems inaccessible at first, but gradually picks up and you want to know what will happen next.
The truth is that the game has 2 main flaws.
The first one is the slow start. The story it tells before the opening credits can be safely skipped, as it repeats it in the prologue when starting a new game, in more detail, and without the ability to interrupt it. It has about 20 minutes of cutscenes to give you control, and when it finally does, you don't have your powers and it's a bit of a one-way street until it gives you a little freedom. If you rented the game and played only a few hours, I won't blame you if you formed a bad opinion.
The second one is that the game is very easy for a large part. Only towards the end does it start to have a satisfactory difficulty, and fortunately, in this version, they added some additional challenge rooms.
If you like Zelda, this is one of the best Zelda games that have been released.
OKAMI: IN THE PANtheon OF VIDEO GAMES
The incredible artistic sensitivity, the interesting story based on Japanese mythology, how thematically compact it is... For this game, many things can be said, but above all, give it the chance to surprise you with all of the above. Those who didn't have the joy and opportunity, like myself, to play it on the Ps2 and Ps3, try it in all its glory in high definition. 1 to go... Shadow of the Colossus Remake!
Very good
Really guys, it won't disappoint you
